Ya, no one has said a thing in terms of what our guild name meant.
Keep all the Archer themed character names in the guild and use it as plausible deniability

The music to this game is fucking amazing by the way. You have awesome stuff like the song that plays with the opening cinematic and then you have bizarrely hilarious stuff like the Moggle Mog song.

Ok so this thing is on sale for 20 bucks so screw it. Purchased. How do I get into this awesome guild? This could be cool playing from my couch next to my beer cup holder. Paging Mkopec. Let's get this in your ps4 and go nuts.

Total opposite for me. The primal fights were the absolute highlight of the game in its original form. Titan in particular was super fun and actually left you feeling awesome when you did it properly. And truth be told, Titan HM/Titan XM weren't even that hard in the end - just punishing if you were absent minded.
My biggest problem with the end game fights is that they require precision stepping in and out of things and following set patterns. Playing a BLM during certain fights sucks donkey balls as they have such long cast times not to mention that it takes a while to get your rotation going and dont' forget the global cooldown. It's like the designers can't figure out how to make a boss fight difficult without resorting to super fast pattern memorization fights.

Well that sucks I cannot get on Gilgamesh. What server are you all on?
Well most of the board is on gilgamesh. Servers are closed for char creation when the servers are populated though, and during the weekend that tends to be all weekend. You need to try at certain hours, I believe it checks every 8hours, so usually in the morning is best, but you might not be able to make a char until the next maintenance(which is a perfect time to make a new char), on tuesday.

Ok I'll just screw around on this one then for now.

I tried for about a week, and ended up catching Gilgamesh open right when the servers came up after the last maintenance. I think you can still transfer over, but there's a lower level limit in place.

If you don't mind spending the extra dough, you can make a character on another server and then transfer to Gilg for $12. The bright side of having character creation locked is that there's almost no Gil spammers.

I knew some blms that were on par with or even occ topped other class's dps on for example Titan Hm or xm. The movement needed definitely made it harder but the fights were so precise in how they unfold that you could come up with rotations of abilities that specifically worked around titans set actions. It took some work and practice but definitely made for some standout players since not everyone pulled it off. Granted it was much easier to do comparable dps as a bard or melee which definitely wasn't fair.

BLM's fine though for the most part, but requires a better knowledge of the fight to reduce your movement as much as possible. As an example, we have a BLM in final coil and say on T11, he stands on the side of the boss during first phase rather than stacked with everyone, and never comes to the stack unless he gets the target for the "stack to split dmg".

When everyone has to spread/stack, he just stands there on the side ignoring mechanics and DPSing the entire time, other than the ground thing when it pops on him(which I think he just aether manip to the tanks then sprint back). On the adds, he just stand near the center and just gun down his bot without running around unless he's targetted, he doesn't follow the tank until he really has to. On Tethers in phase 3, he's generally the one that stand still while whoever's tethered do the spreading, though obviously he follows when there's the field stuff on the ground. Still he does 500ish DPS on a fight that requires a lot of movement, and that's without much gear since we're still pretty new to final coil.

Knowing ahead of time when you have to move and how you have to move is important to playing BLM well. You can limit your movement, sprint for everything, manip when it's viable and use swiftcast on the move to keep DPSing.

Don't like the beast tribe dailies that give Poetics. Not enough to be worthwhile and i'd rather have the soldiery for Relic. Also it never ceases to amaze me how tab target always manages to pick the worst possible target first.

edit: Apparently by default Tab is supposed to target nearest to farthest, but it always seems to do the opposite. Since Shift Tab is supposed to do farthest to nearest i just swapped the keybinds, now tab target works a million times better.

Yeah poetics suck but eh. Haven't done a normal beast daily in a while though, Ixali is just way too good money wise. I need to finish Amaalja and Sapsa at some point, will probably do it after the patch assuming the ixali stuff doesn't go out of control in price.

Tab seems fine to me? Targets closest monster, then it goes from left to right from there. It's not optimal if you already have a target and then tab though, but I just click stuff I want to target anyway.

Whats a good moneymaker from Ixali? Have a ton of oaknots i havent used.
Ehcatl Sealants. Don't know about gilg's economy but on here they go for 200-250k each, costs 8oaknots, you get 6 a day, so that's 150-175k a day or so, which is very worth doing. Granted I've mostly been stockpiling my oaknots instead and they might crash next patch if they reduce the amount of oaknots per sealants or add another way to get them(soldiery), but they're still good money even just buy the 1 oaknot shit for like 10k or whatever. The daillies are fucking annoying as shit though so unless I need to farm more after the patch, I definitely will be happy to drop them.
