First World Problems

Been kicking around the idea of maybe getting a Tesla Model S, BMW i8, Mercedes E63 AMG wagon or something similar. But my condo building's underground garage (Canuck: parkade) was never intended for that use, and I can barely fit my 2009 BMW 5-series wagon in my stall as it is, and both of those vehicles are at least 2-3 inches wider and 4-6 inches longer. I'd have to Austin Powers those fuckers in and out of the stall two to four times a day. Meanwhile BMW and Audi aren't making 4/5/6-series wagons worth a shit in North America any more.

Feels bad man.

Americans don't buy wagons anymore, go VW or VOLVO if you want your stinken wagon over here in the US of A! We only buy CROSSOVERS! Heck even the wagon-crossover crossover's faild such as the Honda Crosstour and the CTS wagon sadly failed also...its just the trend now since the 90's regardless of how silly it is.

i8's are marked up between $100,000 and $150,000 around here. Different for Canadia?

No idea, haven't actually talked to a dealer or anything. That's insane if true. I'm so so on them. Not as practical as some of the other ones I mentioned, and the E63 is faster. Neat technology though. I'll probably just wait for my bro to break down and get one, and just borrow his.

Haha, good call. The E class should be getting an overhaul soon too, if you can wait. The current gen only got a face lift, but it fooled enough people into thinking it was a new generation. The tech inside isn't up to par with the new C class even. Love the wagon though; fuck I wish North America was getting the C63 wagon.

Despite the Tesla's looks, you'll probably hate living with it. If you've got winter to deal with, take a look at the Audi RS7, or S8.

Yeah, I was talking with my bro today and apparently dealers are charging way over MSRP for the i8 here. Agreed on the limitations of a Model S. He also said like you that this is the E63's last year, it would not be a wise purchase since it'll be updated soon. And finally, yeah, the RS7 might be the closest to what I'm looking for. But it too wouldn't work great with my parking stall. Ffffffuuuuuuuuu.

Seriously, I'd love the dashboard/touchscreen/controls of a Model S, the i8 power train (with more jam), and the body of something between my old 5 series touring and an E63 size wise. Is that too much to ask? Someone get their shit together and build me a plug-in hybrid station wagon with 600 hp already, FUCK.

Other first world problem, literally: my bank branch doesn't have Mexican pesos on hand, and only 20's in American. I'm going to get fucked by waiters at the resort next week. Also, what kind of asshole gets married in Mexico in July? My friend apparently. It's actually warmer in Edmonton on Sunday than it is in Playa Del Carmen. WHY AM I FLYING 6 HOURS FOR COOLER WEATHER?

It's an all inclusive, so I just wanted some singles or small Mexican notes for tips. And generally using a Visa in Mexico is rolling the dice, best to use only cash in most cases unless it's at a big chain/corporation.

I haven't done Steam in awhile; forgot my password. It was easy enough to replace, but that took my time.
Only two of many games are visible in my library and my RPGMaker Ace wants me to repurchase it. Nobody's got time for that. Even if it is presumably an easy fix.

Tried to change the water filter (have well water.) Top valve busted/rotted out due to my shitty rusty water, had to replace the whole filter instead of just a 9 dollar cartridge. Woosh $260 dollars.

Car's fucked, $1600 dollars... woosh.

Weedwhacker has a busted starter coil, tried to fix it, head stripped on the bolt to get the clutch off. Woosh another $200.

I'm lucky in that I've got plenty of money to cover it all, but I was so close to having enough to actually finish the renovations on the house so I could gtfo of here.

Filter doesn't accomplish what a softener does, and if your filter is clogging that much and hard, could be something like iron causing shit to bind. If you're on a well, there are many, probably most, places in the country where a softener will benefit you.

It's a water softening filter for the main line right off the well pump. That's what I just had to replace today, the whole filter system.

I have a water softener and a filter. I tried to replace the filter once and had to call a plumber to fix what I fucked up. I either need to replace that filter every couple months, or just never touch it again. Guess which option I choose.

Yeah, I'm supposed to have another filter under the kitchen sink to actually make the water drinkable, but it wouldn't be drinkable even with that second filter (my mom can only drink distilled water because of her kidneys or some shit) so I didn't bother to put a new filter in when I redid the kitchen.
