Whatever planet humans come from, I think the natural days were somewhere between 26 and 28 hours long. I base this on my own limited experience from being on vacation with no schedule. If I get a good night's sleep (6 to 8 hours) I'm good to go for 20 hours.

I think Douglas adams' theory is pretty close. Not the part about the earth being a giant super computer, but the part about alien telephone washers being told their planet was about to be eaten and being sent ahead of the useful members of society to prepare the new planet, and then killing off the indigenous neanderthal when they got here.

Does anyone wonder how much behavior that would have been considered certifiably crazy 30-40 years ago has been completely normalized now?
Example guy I used to know is in the process of becoming a twitch streamer. Hes been streaming for months to absolutely no one, zero viewers aside from when I drop into his channel when I catch him streaming. Yet he streams his gameplay and narrates it as if he has a big huge audiance hes interacting with. He doesnt skip a beat with his narration even though there is no one there. Ill join his stream and be the only one in it and he will be in the middle of explaining something about the game as if someone asked him a question about it.
I have to imagine we have a lot of lightsaber kids in the making right now.

That's sad. You should see what's happening in Asia though. People steaming their eating and just everyday normal life stuff and viewers give...money...in form of digital gifts that has a monetary value.... It is...nay..it has become something of a major industry.....
Girls of four for instance would live stream just about their everyday life...each would take "shifts" to just keep their audience engaged well into midnight.
Celebrities also...do a lot of live streaming.... And post-kpop stars who didn't make it do livecast and some are earning over $100,000 from...gifts in digital currency... That's 100x more money compared to moderately successful Kpop stars...
