I was watching moto3 from italy. They had a restart after a big crash red flag and one of the riders stalled at the end of pit lane. His garage was way down at the other end.

A whole bunch of other teams ran out with starters to help him get his bike going. Can you imagine that happening in formula 1? :emoji_laughing:

Qualifying sure is entertaining. Canada is such a jarring contrast to Monaco. This race should be awesome.

Yeah, most entertaining race since (selfish hometown take, but maybe also true?) Vegas. That was fun to watch.

I was cheering for kmag! Also did anyone notice the super loud whistle coming out of lando's car? Must have been the turbo because you wouldn't hear it on slow corners.

BTW I checked with a youtube channel for one of the medical marshalls and sure enough, no fatal accidents this year 👍

Also I checked out the ITV coverage and it is way way better like I remembered.

The downside is that it isn't live and is a bunch of edited cuts, thus making the commentary a bit fake as they know what is coming / happening.

The upside is you don't get cameras meandering about on empty fields, weird crowd shots, etc. The bitrate is great and the framerate is solid like you'd expect from TV, and the best part is they mix in onboards from all the riders.

One thing I noticed is that they no longer have a camera down at Ballagarey which is just about the scariest corner on any circuit ever.

Moto3 was awesome. I love how those guys bash into each other and then afterward it is all love and backpats and congratulations.

Just got to the Hungaroring. Last minute grandstand tickets when our GA tickets didn’t come through for less than $150. Met some awesome Brazilians who helped Shepard us to the right trains as their daughter is here for college. This place is awesome totally different vibe from Austin.
