Remasters of such fairly current games seems silly to me. lighting is like the only thing that has really made leaps and bounds imho.

heck, path of exile, starsector were from this period.

There is speculation in that reddit on why there is no dialogue in the trailer. although, they say, they studio guy does say the original va cast is back and intact. so dunno. maybe the rights/contracts weren't solidified for the trailer yet.

Here's the answer because I have to explain everything to you in elementary terms like fucking children's building blocks.

It ruins the premise because the entire tension in the movie is contrived. Once you realize what the creature's weakness is, and that the creatures' can be so easily neutralized, one begins to wonder (at least one who is capable of critical thinking)...well how come this wasn't discovered before? Like, if the creature relied solely on sight, we would try and neutralize their sight...if these creatures rely on sound, then we would try and neutralize their hearing. See above post. Could IT POSSIBLY BE because they wanted to use the deaf girl as a plot point and to make her deafness into a strength because her hearing aid turned out to be the magical-fucking-solution? Chekhov would have been proud.

Like why is there even a sequel, other than to show humans building giant sound systems and destroying the creatures en masse?
