Because they released on Steam 2months ago like it says and that was when they pushed the terrible changes so the steam version was basically shit from the start, they were just trying to get some more money before shutting the game down. Game released 4years ago and was in early access for about a year before that.

Yeah the Mordor games were great I think Tuco Tuco had something like 2,500 hours played and dropped a few grand on microtransactions he enjoyed it so much.

(for those that didn't read that thread, I spent exactly zero dollars in MTX but still really love that game)

What was so great about the nemesis system that can’t be replicated? Games rip each other off all the time, why should this be any different?

Software patents restrict competitors from building programs of similar function, regardless of method. They're complete bullshit for that reason. There are tons of patents for "obvious thing... on a computer" that have resulted in massive lawsuits.

The patent can't be all that broad seeing as Warframe implemented something very similar (Lich system) and WBIE didn't do anything.
