I played the first one on Ninja Dog difficulty, still struggled...

I was on ultra hard or whatever and got to some area with fire lily pads and flame demons before I called it on that one. I still regret not going for the final push and was going to consider going for it on this one. Odds are id beat this one and feel like stolen valor. I think the fiend Ryu was the reward had it finished. God that was a good game.

I don't think someone who beat Elden Ring with a dance pad should be the bar for judging whats easy or not

Never played the 3d Ninja Gaiden. Finished the first 2 as a kid and I dont recall ever being able to finish the third one. I still replay the first one on my SNES from time to time. One of my all time favorite NES game.

They are great but really difficult. I doubt I could play them now, too old and too slow.

LOL I remember my friend and I think the 1st or 2nd 3D one - he was a big fan and loved the game until he got to some part that was like insanely hard and he never could get past it.

Completely random- but as a kid in the arcade, this first person Shinobi level where he just kinda casually tossed ninja stars at other ninjas always suck with me... the animation was to me, hallarious because it was just a simple flick of the wrist off this stack of stars and it would shoot across and kill people lol

Sony announced Wednesday that you won’t need to log in to a PlayStation Network account to play four of its single-player games on PC: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (which comes out tomorrow), The Last of Us Part II Remastered (which launches on April 3rd), God of War Ragnarök, and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered.
Data not worth the loss in revenue perhaps, instead they'll incentivize microtransactions so you do play online.

Ninja Gaiden 3 is only stupid hard because you have limited continues. It’s actually the easiest of the 3. The others are more difficult, with 2 being easier than 1, but you can keep hammering away at it. With 3 you have 5 continues and then it is time to start over.

On the subject of Ninja Gaiden, Microsoft censored the women completely out of the Xbox trailers for Ninja Gaiden 2 Black remaster ahead of Ninja Gaiden 4:

Good, maybe this will further incentive people to not buy Soyn's wokeslop.

However, them cancelling the Gran Turismo port further proves that Soyn is fucking retarded beyond all help.

Finally, you have a game that is just vroom vroom non-faggy, racist simulator that could have easily capitalized on high end hardware... and the dumbasses cancel that instead of Peter Parker's Humiliation Tour: LBTQPDEI+ Edition, TLOU 2: Pro Tour, or Faggame$.

Sony Interactive Entertainment's new CEO, Hideaki Nishino, should be ordering everyone in their California offices to commit seppuku.

Things may change now that Hermen Hulst is out as Co-CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Hideaki Nishino being the only CEO of the gaming department.

Sony itself got a new CEO with Hiroki Totoki, so things may even change further down the line.
I truly hope so because I hate seeing what Sony has become under their Western leadership when they're sitting on so many great games and IPs that created their legacy.

If you were to dig through all of what they could have done, it makes the current slate for the PS5 outright depressing to look at when we could have seen a revival of Twisted Metal, SOCOM, Killzone, Resistance, LittleBigPlanet, Infamous, Warhawk, Jak and Daxter, some Team Ico project, so on and so on.

Even taking some faulty execution titles like Lair or Haze and reviving the premises would be more welcome than whatever rudderless plan they've been chasing after throwing away however many millions + countless hours with failed GAAS projects nobody wanted.

Also, I'm pretty sure Hulst was the one who was pushing for all of the Horizon crap because he worked at Guerilla, so maybe the new leadership will put a stop to trying to force it happen after one game.
