Yeah, George W got screwed-over by the media in the grand scheme of things, but not in day-to-day coverage from 2001-2005. They were absolutely in the tank for him during those times.

When asked to not report on the domestic spying programs they learned the existance of prior to the 2004 election the entire mass media bent the knee.

Right. Also torture, they knew about Abu Ghraib probably 6 months to a year before it was actually reported on. Once European media started reporting it and it became common knowledge, only then did American media report it, and largely only in the context of it being "bad apples" responsible rather than an official policy.

There's also zero chance that nobody in the media bothered to read the UN inspector reports in 2002 that all went "THERE ARE NO WMDS" while they were busy reporting that UN inspectors had confirmed WMDs.

It was a hell of a lot like what's happening now. I was like 18 at the time and I remember thinking welp, at least nothing in politics in the future will ever piss me off as much as this does.

Yeah, I wish

What time tomorrow does this shit-show start?

The judge set aside 2.5 hours for each side for closing arguments with the prosecution saying they were going to need 2.5 hours. They go first, the defense gets to go and the prosecution gets the final word. It's going to probably take all fucking day.

That's probably not a terrible comparison. Of the many blindspots we have as Americans a crucial one is our inability to see ourselves as the outside world does. The most embarrassing military defeat since Vietnam gets a week of coverage. I guess it wasn't a big deal. Oh, the entire rest of the world has a different opinion about the seriousness of these events? Huh, that's weird.

I always thought the defence got the last word. Is this something that is negotiated or does the prosecution always get the last word? How long does that take?

I thought the same thing but I guess because the burden of proof is on the state they get the last word. It probably works a little different everywhere. They've got thirty minutes for their rebuttal and the judge warned them that he has cut their own colleges off mid sentence if they go too long.

They should question Kyle further.

I mean couldn't he have shot 5+ pedos? Why didn't he? What should we gofundme for him so he can next time?

These questions need answers.

There would be a lot more dead if Kyle had been asking himself, “can I shoot this guy?” Instead, he was correctly asking himself, “do I need to shoot this guy?”

You know people write what Tucker reads. He is a dancing monkey, I am amazed by how many people swear by him. Tucker makes media jews cash money, I am willing to bet at least 1/2 the shit he reads out he had no idea of 5 minutes before the segment. He is just John Oliver with a jew boss who wants easy access to conservative cash.

I don't know I guess I just don't trust journalist or talking mouth pieces as much as I don't trust career politicians.
Watch some of his unscripted interviews on his YouTube daily show. He speaks the exact same way.

You’re not wrong. But you’re not right.

If even two other networks had a Tucker our country would be in a different position.

Levin's an establishment shill civnat piece of shit.

Same bit with Tulsi "The prosecutor didn't do his due diligence!" Bullshit, that means she thinks the prosecutor made a mistake. He didn't make a mistake, it's been intentional from day 1. Telling cops to stand down, NOT sending in national guard after the first day, NOT rounding up all the antifa/blm scum causing riots and burning things, and then purposely railroading AR Kyle when the whole thing is on fucking video. None of those are 'mistakes', those are all intentional premeditated enemy action.

These people are part of the problem. They are currently making noises that make them sound like they are nominally on your side or are coming around to your side, but they are NOT. Never forget the traitors, the shills, the reasonable-sounding 'centrist' holding a knife behind his back who speaks honeyed words so he can get close enough to stick that knife into your back at the opportune moment.

You and I will respectfully disagree with Levin. I don't think he's perfect, but he's one of the best voices out there. He isn't afraid to say it like it is on his radio program either.

Andrew Sullivan, DEFINATELY an establishment piece of shit, wrote an piece with amazing examples of the media just like what Levin was talking about. However, Sullivan also goes on and on about how Kyle shoudln't have been there etc. That's kinda what you expect out of a establishment shill. But even Sullivan is done with the fucking state of the media in this country. Levin has done enough to show me he might have his moments, but he's definately not a shill. The first half talks about Rittenhouse, and how the media is lying on it.

Think of the other narratives the MSM pushed in recent years that have collapsed. They viciously defamed the Covington boys. They authoritatively told us that bounties had been placed on US soldiers in Afghanistan by Putin — and Trump’s denials only made them more certain. They told us that the lab-leak theory of Covid was a conspiracy theory with no evidence behind it at all. (The NYT actually had the story of the leak theory, by Donald McNeil, killed it, and then fired McNeil, their best Covid reporter, after some schoolgirls complained he wasn’t woke.) Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

The MSM took the ludicrous story of Jussie Smollett seriously because it fit their nutty “white supremacy” narrative. They told us that a woman was brutally gang-raped at UVA (invented), that the Pulse mass shooting was driven by homophobia (untrue) and that the Atlanta spa shooter was motivated by anti-Asian bias (no known evidence for that at all). For good measure, they followed up with story after story about white supremacists targeting Asian-Americans, in a new wave of “hate,” even as the assaults were disproportionately by African Americans and the mentally ill.

As Greenwald noted, the NYT “published an emotionally gut-wrenching but complete fiction that never had any evidence — that Officer Sicknick’s skull was savagely bashed in with a fire extinguisher by a pro-Trump mob until he died.” The media told us that an alleged transgender exposure in the Wi Spa in Los Angeles was an anti-trans hoax (also untrue). They told us that the emails recovered on Hunter Biden’s laptop were Russian disinformation. They did this just before an election and used that claim to stymie the story on social media. But they were not Russian disinformation. They were a valid if minor news story the media consciously kept from its audience for partisan purposes.

More recently, the MSM were telling us for months that inflation is a phantasm. We were told that the “2021 Inflation Scare is another in a series of false alarms going back several decades.” We were assured that “the numbers at least for now are on the side of those expecting the trend to subside and then stabilize at lower levels.” Any concern was “fearmongering politics.” And now we wake up to the highest inflation in 30 years, counter-balancing wage increases. Still, they tell us, all will be well.

We were told that vaccines would end the Covid pandemic. But they merely altered Covid to a manageable disease that you could still contract while vaccinated. We were told that the migrant surge at the border was just seasonal, and nothing out of the ordinary, even as 1.7 million migrants were illegally trying to get into the country in the last year. We were told that sending migrants back to their home countries was a wicked and unconscionable Trump tactic — even as the Biden administration swiftly copied it with Haitian immigrants — to much success. The cruelty is the point, eh?

We were — and still are! — being told by most of the media that critical race theory isn’t in high schools at all. Meanwhile, a tsunami of evidence is out there showing that it absolutely is — in every subject, and every class, as the central philosophy behind many states’ education policies.

We all get things wrong. What makes this more worrying is simply that all these false narratives just happen to favor the interests of the left and the Democratic party. And corrections, when they occur, take up a fraction of the space of the original falsehoods. These are not randos tweeting false rumors. They are the established press.

Censored.tv is well worth the $10 a month. Has a bunch of Youtubers that got booted off of Youtube. AIU alone is worth the $10 a month and then you've got like 50 other notable people on there, like that weird little Soph character.

My money would be on not guilty murder, guilty on lesser ("compromise") bullshit charges.

I have several friends who have done similar things minus the shooting. Guys with military, emt, and one fire+emt who have talked to me about grabbing a big fucking gun and relaxing by a buddy's store. If this verdict comes back all guilties the cities are (even more) fucked.
