The thing with successful reboots is that they're usually of properties that were good but not necessarily huge hits. Remaking wildly popular movies seems like a pretty bad idea most of the time, you'll have a hard time pleasing people that love the original.
How did the remakes of Footloose or Karate Kid go?

Yeah this movie is going to suck big time.

Both were complete piles of shit. Both original movies were huge hits and should not have been rebooted like I said? I don't really get what you're trying to say.

I don't mind Channing Tatum, but the dude picks some awful movies. I think the best movie he's ever been in was Coach Carter, and he had a pretty minor role in that, unless you count voicing Superman in the Lego Movie, which I don't. Hell, the better of the two GI Joe movies is the one where he dies at the beginning. But I don't think he's a bad actor, he's got some comedic chops based on the Jump Street movies, he just keeps getting roles in shit movies. Nobody could have salvaged Jupiter Ascending or White House Down.
