Yes, you should definitely watch it. I mean, sometimes you never know what a person will like, or what they will cling to from a beloved earlier version of a movie, but I really enjoyed the Fright Night remake, and I'm someone that loved the first one. I don't think you will be disappointed.

There is something about these full costume pics that just feels wrong. I don't like anything about this 'remake' but my brain wants to at least see the reasons for why they make the decisions they make. It's almost like an optical illusion picture that screws with your eyes. Is it the orange and reflective strips? The proton packs that appear to have zero weight? Maybe it's that we don't know what the characters personalities will be (we have a good guess based off prior work and it doesn't look good) I just don't know... and I don't like any of it.

Showed that picture to my girlfriend and she happily said 'oh, they're visiting sick kids.' Then I asked: do you think these kids know who they are? And she, unhappily groan and said "oh" and then was mad that I made her feel bad/stupid.

Their costumes look like they came from comic-con, and they want to be bizarro world ghostbusters where they're women and fat, like that's their theme, the 4 horsewomen of ghostbusters.

The film ppl probably saw Johnny Depp visiting sick kids as Capt Jack in Austrailia a few days before, and decided to ride the hype train
