My standards are low. But as low as they are, the ones on the edges are still far below them.

how hillarious would it be if they actually made #1 just a miserable excuse for a human being with no redeeming character qualities at all? Fat, fatalistic (not in a deadpan humor sort of way), selfish, and miserable at the core. And they made the black one just straight up racist. Like Ferrekhan racist and the entire movie she just spews violent harrangues and actively tries to sabotage the whities while they're fighting the ghostseses. And like the blonde one is smart, but she's a complete slut and she's in the dementia stages of late untreated syphillis. And the brunette is a real american... hard working, doe eyed niave, and completely earnest -- but she's just straight up incompetent. Not comically incompetent either. Just sad incompetent.

Well if you subscribe to the Hitchens view of comedy, then people develop humor who need to impress. Usually people who need to add an attractive quality in order to get people to pay attention to them, because their physical appearance can't do it alone (Which is why, according to him, most men are comics.)...Nothing scientific about it, funny how it applies here though lol. On an anecdotal level it does make sense, the stereotype of less attractive women having better personalities usually exists for a reason, even if it isn't applicable in all cases.
Very different look from the originals. The original cast always looked bewildered or freaked out lol, they played up the "wtf is this shit, it will turn you WHITE" comedy angle of the movie. This photo is almost like they are satirizing an action movie though; shit they could toss those poses in the expendables and they'd fit right in. I'm wondering if that's the angle they will go, action movie satire, rather than the mix of bumbling/straight man comedy in a surreal/ridiculous setting.New released photo;

I won't pay money to see it. If it comes out on Amazon prime, do they get some sort of kick back if I click the Prime Watch for Free button? If so I will not watch it at all.
Hollywood and their damn reboots and remakes. Think of some original shit for once. They have now ruined Poltergeist and Vacation with remakes in the last year. Some shit is sacred. This is the next. If they remake Caddyshack, I am going to fly out to Hollywood in my F-16 and crash land into a democrats house.
