At least for now you can't resell them. The device is tied to your google account and you can't log into any other account with it.
That is why I always sign up for new things with a "throwaway" account
Bummer though because I doubt anyone thought of that at the time and secondly I doubt I would actually be able to afford it since everyone would mark up the price into the stratosphere.

Wonder how much an invite is worth :3 Wife got 3 yesterday but they are all probably taken. Chances are they will start handing out additional batches if they treat it like Gmail.

You can resell them. A Factory reset of the Google Glass lets you tie it to another account.That is why I always sign up for new things with a "throwaway" account

Source: My wife lent her Google Glass to a friend and we tied it to his account through this method.
I heard they are going for around $500 right now! I am not willing to spend anything more than the $1500 but I think that is enough to spend on a gimmick like this

Honestly, the current incarnation is trash. The battery life is awful and we can't find a real use for them...
I think the only times she every really used it is when we went house hunting. Now that that is over... who knows. They may just sit in a corner and collect dust like a Nintendo product.
I can't even use them as I don't wear contacts and there is no mount for glasses.
