Robb was already cut off from the north, the greyjoys had already snagged that shit up before the red wedding. The boltons were fucking shit up too, and the karstarks had ditched robb as well

Yea, I haven't read the books, but I never got the impression the Brotherhood were actually bad guys. The Lannister group at Harrenhall torturing people to find them made me figure they were probably good guys, haha.

He had to be intimidating because that's what kind of man survives in that world, but he has honor and never planned to harm the kids if they didn't try to do anything to them. They, the Brotherhood, just disagree with the bullshit going on with the Houses. They believe that the 'game of thrones' the houses are playing is hurting the people and the kingdom itself so they are fighting back, guerrilla warfare style.

I suppose all the backstabbery has ruined me... Just watching etc I am like they are more on the good side, and the more starkish end the war, let all be their own and be just... But with everyone else in the world being the bastards they are just always makes me try and read ten layers deep on everyone's actions.

still very much looking forward to the next episode...

and really, if dragon girl can deal with not ruling the north, and she can team up with stark and take out the lannisters who really are the ones atm being the source of all douchebaggery all could end and be happy and you know..get ready for winder undead apocalypse ... Stannis is dumb he don't count only firecunt magic gives him any ... Anything...

Not sure why you're still arguing this, we agree that the Red Wedding was more significant. Are you just trying to confuse people?

So is this the Red Wedding episode? I thought that was 3.09 or whatever.

3.09 is the red wedding. They aren't going to drop that shit halfway through the season. I'm not sure what 'Robb is betrayed' alludes to, though.

Read the summary for the next episode and you will realize it is not the red wedding. Episode 9 is.

You should be flayed for your ignorance.

edit: Actually maybe I should be flayed. Hmmmm, Robb doesn't find out about them til the RW. Did Karstark already kill the prisoners in the show? Maybe that....or...I dunno.

It's probably when he has to kill Karstark. Can't remember what he does to betray Rob exactly. Think he killed some Lannister prisoners behind his back or something? Memory's foggy.

Isn't Gendry Robert's bastard, currently with Arya?
Yeah but word is he's replacing the bastard Stannis has at Dragonstone in the books, and the episode before that one says Melisandre visits the Riverlands. So I'm guessing she uses her mad HD fire skills to find a suitable sacrificial bastard and goes to retrieve him.

Yea, a bit concerned the whole insta-travel to the riverlands to find Gendry might come off a bit contrived but we will see. Would be interesting to see if Gendry is still with Thoros and co. When Mel finds him. Be cool to see two followers of R'hllor gab and junk.

very curious to see what happens when all the transient stuff leads to the wider plot of winter and walkers, how the history of the wall, plays into it, the targaryens, the long winter from thousands of years ago, children of the forest, sword of fire... all that exciting stuff!

Ya...odd departure from the books, but you're right that the interaction between two R'hllor acolytes could be some awesome stuff. This probably means they may completely dump the Riverlands Orphan side plot, which was pretty crappy anyways except for the Brienne ambush.

Was it just me, or was the ruined inn that final scene, took place in the same inn that Cat arrested Tyrion in from season 1?
