Yeah, not only the only killed character was introduced in the episode, but a guy supposed to be dead is back to life! It's so weird, that when Arya got stabbed it felt like a dream sequence!
I am joking, but I must say I am pretty happy that Westeros is back to being a clusterfuck of fragile alliances. That's what I enjoyed in the show at the start of it and that has been sorely missing since the red wedding.

Ok my new Arya theory:
Arya is all fucked up, dying. Waif goes to JH. Says the deed is done, Arya is dead. JH asks her some questions, which he already knows the answer to (the lying game). He slaps her, letting her know she is lying and he can tell. Waif ends up revealing that she is "someone", not "no one", because of her desires. JH kills Waif for the betrayal. JH finds Arya dying. Says that the life Arya didn't take (the actress) has been replaced with another life. Death is satisfied with the trade, so she will not be killed by JH or any Faceless man. Arya points out that she is dying, killed by a faceless man. JH mentions that Arya was killed by someone, not no one, and thus must die. However, no one cannot die, because if someone is no one, then there is nothing to kill. JH reveals he is basically one of the original Faceless Men from Valaryia (Remember: The show already showed that Mel is ultra old, so super long lived people has been established) and thus has a means to escape death. JH basically puts the offer on the table: Arya will die no matter what, but if a girl is not Arya, then what does it matter? She accepts and becomes a legit Faceless Man. Arya is dead, but a girl lives. Needle is left behind on the streets, the last vestige of her former life. Roll credits.

It seems highly unlikely. There was never any evidence for Cleganebowl in the books anyway, just something people really want to happen.
If the two do end up fighting later it's obviously not going to be in Cersei's trial.

admittedly the different map makes me look like a tard, but i thought the map i was looking at was the official one where it looks narrow as fuck and not thousands of miles from valyria.
My theory on Arya/the waif/Jaqen: the waif fails in her mission to kill Arya, she returns to to the temple without a face, Jaqen tells her a life is required, takes her life instead, the many faced god is appeased, Arya is allowed to live.
Of course, it would be cooler if Arya tricks the waif and kills her instead, so I'm still holding out hope that somehow Arya uses her cunning to defeat the waif, and proves her worth to Jaqen, who then tells her defeating the waif was her final test, and now she is one of the faceless men.

if that is the waif jumping off that balcony im going to guess her punishment for not killing arya was also blindness and her blind-fu is much weaker than arya's so she panics and runs off that balcony and falls to her death. maybe that was where arya's apartment was where she had the sword and she blinded the waif herself. either way, we can all agree that the waif is going to be dead by the end of the next episode and arya will be healed by some form of magic.
