If its not finished or he's dead just do a prequel season focused on the rebelion ect like spartacus which was prolly my favorite out of that cheesy show.

I would love to see dany die but at the same time if she does I would be upset for having wasted so much time on her boring story

Dany wins Throne. Arya kills Dany. Arya uses faceless powers to assume Dany's identity ;P

television show costs start skyrocketing after 4-5 seasons as actors demands get really high.
What *popular* shows have been cancelled after 4-5 seasons due toactor demands? That's not why Rome, Deadwood, etc.. were cancelled.

It doesn't happen.

First neither show has been cancelled and the office went to shit, every show has disputes over budgets

Didn't Mad Men miss a season because the actors wanted to get paid?

It was delayed by 6 months or so because the creator wanted a ton of money a thing specially for the amount of viewers, still not cacelled and most shows get in fights over salary ect at one point

So timeline question for you dudes. In the books, when does Sansa escape King's Landing? I have this vague recollection of her using the chaos surrounding Joff's wedding to get free, but that might be completely off base. I'm just starting a reread of the books now after many years for those first three.

I question this simply because Littlefinger seems like he's leaving KL any episode now, but that has to pretty much coincide with Sansa leaving too right? And the assumption we all have is Joff's wedding isn't until season 4. Am I correct on all of that? Unless Sansa wasn't at the wedding and I'm just forgetting.

Could someone go deeper with what is going on with Theon. I remember his troops walking out on him in Winterfell, but after that I am lost.
His troops didn't just walk away. They knocked him the fuck out and delivered him in a bundle to the force that was sieging winterfell. And then they went home, cause that was the deal.

So Theon is holed up in some dank ass dungeon-rape tower that belongs to the dudes who retook Winterfell. Also he's an idiot, albeit a less annoying idiot than Jaime.

Yeah that's how it went down. Sansa had the gem things in her hairnet, the Queen of Thorns snatched one out and poisoned Joffrey with it, because hilarity, and Sansa escaped with Dontos in the fallout from that and Littlefinger is waiting nearby on a boat destined for his secret volcano lair.

Alright, word. And this is all after she and Tyrion get married too. I'm just curious why the show has Littlefinger all ready to leave.

My guess is that they will have Sansa promised to Tyrion and then LF telling Sansa he has to go, which combined together will destroy Sansa. By making it clear that he is leaving and then waiting a few episodes (or even next season until we see him again), it will make it quite a surprise when Sansa is snuck out of the wedding and he is revealed.

How can you say poor Theon but then say that about jaime, I mean Theon betrayed everyone close to him and murdered children
What I meant was "Poor Theon" mockingly - he is a goober and he is finally coming to see what he did was totaly stupid... I do not really feel sorry for him- nor Jamie :p

Jamie ranks up there as one of my favorite characters in this whole thing, how anyone could dislike him or find him annoying is beyond me.

The Office could fit into that I bet.

Modern Family recently had major issues with salary.
I wonder how many very popular shows that also followed an existing set of popular books have been canceled due to actor demands. It seems like if one of the main characters were to quit in the 4th+ season due to bullshit that they'd become a bit of a pariah in the industry.

I don't think the show would necessarily falter if it had to replace some cast members. Shit happens, the show has such a large cast that replacements wouldn't ruin the show and they have shown time and time again that they can find awesome new people to join the show. The hardest to replace probably would for me right now would be Tyrion, Dany, Jaime and Arya as far as tv depictions that I love, but even if they got swapped I dont think it would be the end of the world.

Like Tuco said though, I think it would lead to a massive backlash if a major castmember left for money reasons. Also, GoT is a prestige show. It isn't some comedy that people aren't proud to be a part of.

The difference between this show and many others is there is higher costs associated with producing an episode due to sets/costumes/cgi/etc., so if something like actor salaries start to infringe on the overall budget, they may start cutting corners in the production.
