The Sam jump was the one that was jarring to me while watching too, cause we open with Jon at dragonstone, so time has passed, then we see Sam and it's like the next morning, but i figured its just cause they wanted the Jon and daeny opener, everything else did make sense in terms of time
In the previous episode, the Archmaester said he had to gtfo the next day, that's why it doesn't make sense. The Sam jump was the one that was jarring to me while watching too, cause we open with Jon at dragonstone, so time has passed, then we see Sam and it's like the next morning, but i figured its just cause they wanted the Jon and daeny opener, everything else did make sense in terms of time

This actually brought up a good point. Arya wasn't too far from Winterfell; maybe halfway between there and Kings Landing. So Sam and his autistic looking wildling wife had their kid after the white walkers were on the march and were a known quantity (after hardhome even?). That kid is like 3-4 years old now when we saw him last, so the white walkers have been marching the last few hundred miles or whatever it is south to the wall for damn near half a decade now? The reed chick dragged the yoda cripple the entire distance they need to cross by herself already; get fucking moving you zombie bastards.
Arya turned around to go north, and in the time it's taking her to get there from near the twin forts Jon has sailed across the fucking world and multiple castle sieges and army movements have happened.
I don't usually like to nitpick about this kind of shit, but it's really getting out of fucking control at this point.
He's definitely hilarious, the whole "finger in her bum" comment had me cackling...This episode was good. Clearly they've done away with any pretense of travel time. You want to see the queen? Next episode, you're at the queen! Nobody has time for "on the road" scenes with so few episodes left. I'm torn on Euron. On one hand, he's hilarious, on the other hand it's almost cartoonish. I lol'd at him calling Theon a twat for jumping off the boat.
better or worse, then lanisters have taken heavy losses, are outnumbered by Tyrell 10:1, leave 30% of their people at Castelyrock and STILL manage to storm Highgarden. The iron fleet is just fucking silly. Complete stealth combined with Vary's transporter technology.
I gauge time by how much more annoying Daenerys is, each time we see her. It was quite clear this episode that it had been several months since we last saw her.Still enjoyed the dialogue between Tyrion and Jon. Yeah the fast travel is off the rails. Would be helpful to show the passing of time IMO.
