Well it all degraded into "did magic exist in westeros, south of the wall (that part was added in when north it's super common) before the comet."

The answer was yes.

This is wrong. The Riverlands was never a Kingdom, it was part of the Iron Island's domain until the conquest. The Crownlands where part of the Stormlands. The two fought over the whole area until the Iron Islanders built Harrenhal to hold it and Aegon melted it.

The seven are:
The North, The Vale, The Iron Islands, The Westerlands, The Reach, The Stormlands, Dorne.
Riverlands were a kingdom till the river kings were ended by storm kings. House Durrandon controlled the riverlands for 300 years till House Hoare took them. The ironborn ran the trident for a century more or less, versus three centuries by storm kings and thousands of years before that as an independent kingdom.

I'm not swayed by these technicalities which is why I added the asterisk and mentioned harren the black, current nine regions and so on. Vale, reach, river, dorne, west, north, storm. Rest are off the mainland or some other convoluted shit.

So....you just give the raven directions, like, "Hey, go find a boat with really big sails. It should be in this general direction. Make sure it's the BIG sails though! And they're black with a giant gold kraken. You know what krakens are, right raven?"

Man, ravens are really fucking smart.

Most likely there are ravens trained to always fly to a specific location and back. Like there's castle black ravens, dragon stone ravens, winter fell ravens all at kings landing, and so on

You are still wrong, you can't declassify Iron Islands as one of the Seven Kingdoms because you personally don't think islands count.

Seven Kingdoms is named after the seven that existed at the time of the conquest, otherwise it would be the hundred kingdoms since historically lots of houses had their own little kingdoms at the same time the riverlands had multiple kingdoms of its own.

Targaryans created riverlands and crownlands as sub regions for their own purposes.

Obviously she is going to believe when the Night King hurls a huge ice spear into one of her dragons necks and drops that bitch like a sack of fucking bricks.

Only then will she actually decide to start fucking shit up, which will probably happen next season, sadly.

I also like Soygens theory of Euron raping entire armies on land with his fire cannon stealth teleporter ship.

Oh yea, quick dumb question, who wins in single combat The Hound or Euron? I say The Hound but perhaps there is more to Eurons fortitude and bloodlust than we know. I could also see him taking advantage of Cleganes vulnerability to fire damage type.

The level of magic and acceptance of such in the series is highly variable. They seem to be very aware that things like Warlocks and Alchemists exist and obviously various people, not westerosi, are aware that the faceless men can make use of magical shapeshifting, but ever since the Children of the Forest went extinct they haven't ever considered magic as a tactical power aside from dragons fucking shit up.

You guys are seriously retarded... GRRMMMmmmmm loves tossing in random "sounds cool" and "allusions" to things.. 7 is a well known number, Biblical and other references - its a cooler saying "The 7 Kingdoms" vs 6 or 8 or 10 or 9... only other number that would be good would be 4 for directional or 5 for directional and center.

He started with TEH SEVEN KINGOMZ WE WAZ KANGZ... then startted filling and fleshing out his world- and he loves making up bullshit background info that he does not have to frame or flesh out- so here are some cool names and cool conflict of the past to hand wave away something.

Supposedly show Euron is Euron + Victarion. And iirc Victarion was a badass.

Well that's why I brought it up. I wonder how good of a fighter he really is? We saw him toss old Baelon over a bridge after taking a slash to the face. Cool. We then saw him fuck some shit up during the ship battle and destroyed at least 8 dudes on screen so by all accounts he seems like a badass, especially if that axe is Valaryian Steel.

I would like to see him fight some of the more badass characters on the show. For instance him vs Bronn would be a good fight. Him vs John Snow. I just wonder if he is top tier or a maniacal brawler who just rapes and always fights with an advantage.

He beat 2 sand snakes at once and the 3 of them captured Bronn and Jamie so I'd say we're supposed to believe that he's a top tier badass.
