I see Arya being punishedif she doesn't embrace the training and holds on to her previous issues.
I thought this was foreshadowed with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer from when she buried Needle under a flagstone somewhere instead of just throwing it away like she was supposed to.

Yea, it has, but I figure she still has a chance to really become a faceless and not just Arya++. Their organization has been around for a while, so I figure they must be prepared to eliminate wayward students.

I figure the way this story ends, and I'm being completely serious, is some minor lord you've barely ever heard of (maybe he was mentioned as participating in a tournament in like book 1) shows up in the last half of the final book and goes "well, we pushed back the white walkers at great cost. It looks like everybody that was still alive before we rallied the seven kingdoms still managed to kill each other on the battlefield. I guess that means I'm king now! Yaaaaay! The. End."

More elaborate than that, but basically that.

Depends on how far she is able to develop her warg powers without tutelage. Bran was able to learn how to affect humans with his powers on his own, but that likely had a lot to do with having been crippled. Either way, it stands to reason that it's at least possible she could stumble onto that power. Even if she doesn't, a fully trained faceless man with some of the powers of a warg on top would be a devilishly hard person to track down, even for other faceless men.

A showdown between her and Jaqen at some point would seem inevitable.

It better not be as shitty as the end of Malazan. I think Dorne gets their revenge and has a seat at the table in the epilogue.

Pretty sure arya's trainer already knows she is a warg and that she held onto Needle. He would be a pisspoor trainer if he didnt watch her closely. Im sure he is giving her time to freely admit those secrets, if she doesnt then they will toss her out. Based on martin's 7 book deadline. Im guessing arya wont ever finish her training for whatever reason. They key being she can change her face at will from then on.

Sansa will die horribly.
Tyrion will too.
Cersei will poison Jaime
Jaime will choke a bitch.
Arya will kill Jaqen
Stoneheart kills Littlefinger
Bran will kill everyone
Dany kills Bran

I mean at least half of that

that actually works out pretty well but i think less main characters are going to die towards the end than expected. and i think there's a chance that as we head for the final battle (lands of always winter, possibly the children of the forest, lord knows what) the last stark or starks will survive only through his/her direwolf, joining dany and her dragons.

from the second i read the part about the mother wolf dead w/ six cubs in the summer snows, bolstered by the slow-building introduction of warging & magic in the following books, i got the impression that the starks are literally going to end up as hounds of winter.

So you enjoy watching Joffrey and hate arya.. What show are you watching
Joff is hilarious as shit. The scene where he was wanting to give Sansa Robb's head on a platter then he got sent to bed without supper. Holy shit I was dying the entire time.

The actor does well, but how you can honestly enjoy him I'm not sure. He's a whiny, privileged cunt. How is that enjoyable at all? I'm pretty sure Arya is only second to Tyrion as far as fan favorites too.

So, that scene where Melisandre meets up with Thoros. I like to think that GRRM/show writers are playing some sort of meta-game between the book/show. Having Mel go to Thoros and learn that dudes can be rezzed seems to be setting up her resurrection of Jon. Yeah, in the show she needed Gendry, but I think theyre killing two birds with one stone.

Anyone else think this?

Speaking of Arya and Needle, where is Needle anyways in the show? Seems like she lost it after the Brotherhood found her.

So of all the talk with how untouchable characters can be killed in this series is there anyone who thinks that Jon, Arya, Sansa or Daenarys will be killed and stay dead before the finale of the book series?
Yes. I think Jon is really dead!
