stannis throws the leeches in the fire. It doesn't fit his character to knowingly pull off that trick on davos.Implication is that Euron uses one of the Qarth warlocks to summon a storm or something. Don't know why he would need a faceless man or what that would add to the plot.
Leeches was Melisandre trying to take the credit for things she saw in the fire, it's confirmed in her chapter later that shewasjust a magician with tricks before dragons so it fits her character to do this.
We'll never seen Jaqen H'ghar again.if its a faceless man maybe we get to see jaqen na'har again.
if thats the case then they'll no doubt pick a dude just to force more fag sex into the show. They could pick a_random_girl00 to be fake Arya, but they do need something plotwise that allows Theon to break free of Ramsey.
You mean, besides when he murder that guy in Oldtown for some key? We'll never seen Jaqen H'ghar again.
When (books wise) did this happen? I do not recall it.You mean, besides when he murder that guy in Oldtown for some key?
He kills and replaces the apprentice named Pate in the AFFC prologue. I guess theoretically we could see it this season if they decide to put it in. Doubt it though with everything else going on.When (books wise) did this happen? I do not recall it.
Are you serious? Melisandre tells him to do it and Stannis is really fucking sceptical right until the last of the three dies. The whole point of the trick is to prove her power to Stannis, not Davos. She could have had Davos burned alive at any point but hasn't because she sees his loyalty and a purpose for him.stannis throws the leeches in the fire. It doesn't fit his character to knowingly pull off that trick on davos.
When do they travel to dany? They're in fucking old town (I think)? Where Aemon and fatfuck go (and Aemon dies). It was the prologue in the Dance book. The guy Jaq changed into murders some kid and assumes his identity as part of some mission we assume. Since they are traveling to Dany/the dragons, we assume he may be targetting them. The slavers could definately afford a faceless assassin.
That wasn't Jaqen H'ghar. You mean, besides when he murder that guy in Oldtown for some key?
It was the prologue to AFFC and the kid he murdered was an apprentice in the Citadel named Pate. He's not traveling anywhere, certainly not towards Dany. Sam ends up meeting "Pate" when he arrives at the Citadel toward the middle of AFFC. After that we haven't heard anything. You are getting details confused. It was the prologue in the Dance book. The guy Jaq changed into murders some kid and assumes his identity as part of some mission we assume. Since they are traveling to Dany/the dragons, we assume he may be targetting them. The slavers could definately afford a faceless assassin.
I assumed she wanted him to take the black so she would tie up a loose end.One thing that always escaped me in ADWD. Why did Cersei want Osney Kettleblack (whichever loser was the one arrested by The Faith) to eventually take the black and kill Jon Snow. Was she in on the Fake-Arya thing at all? Did I miss that completely?
