Tyrion killing Tywin was such an awesome victory in the book, but Charles Dance has put on such an incredible performance that I'm actually sad he's going to be killed off.

I'm pretty excited about the Tysha reveal. Either Dinklage and Jaime sells that scene so hard that theyre guaranteed an emmy or they don't and Tyrion/Tywin will feel flat. If they sell it well enough it's prolly worthwhile fiming reaction videos for since it's a great omfg moment.

Er... no he was killed with daggers. Killed by Winter means that you fucking freeze to death.
Or how about that Melissandre sees in the fire that Jon is actually Azor Ahai and Stannis is not. I've got no doubt that she's going to revive him.

happens in bran's vision from Episode 2 of this season, beginning at 2:45 of this video:
Game of Thrones S04E02 - Bran Starks visions - YouTube
Thanks for the video link. I can remember that part of that episode, but that mixed in his visions, there was a brief view of the dragon over King's Landing. I didn't remember that.

The trailer kinda made it look like it was a major event that was going tohappenin season4. By being a major SFX shot in the first few seconds.

So it was a troll by them.

I think the way the wildlings who did cross the wall behaved(and have behaved for hundreds of years) is evidence enough why the Night's Watch would never just let them through.
Eh true, but are they assholes because the rest of the world are assholes to them? obvious exceptions being the bald cannibal bastards...they are just messed up.

also I was half expecting Sam's girl to have had to kill that coward guy- he kinda gave the "youis ganna get raped" look when he founder her in there.

edit: wait... did Jon NOT take his wolf with him? goober... I do not suspect he will live long, even if he does kill Mance- but he knows that also.

I wouldn't want it posted in the non spoiler thread.
If it's a legit HBO promotional image then it's not a spoiler.

The only way someone could be spoiled by it, is if they sat there and tried to work out what it was and googled every possible answer "rock heart game of thrones" etc etc until they got to the right answer

I really hope the season ends with Stannis charging in and saving the wall. I know that wont be the final scene, but show Stannis needs something at this point.

new extended length Season Finale promo vid:

first 15 seconds are scenes from the original promo vid. then new scenes interweaved with "all men must die"

New scenes:
Tyrion in jail saying to someone (Jaime) come for a last look?
Jaime and Tyrion running together down the hallway
Shae in Tywin's bed noticing someone coming in
Tyrion in the dark laying on something. not sure if this is him in the black cells, or him in a barrel.

keep in mind the original promo vid already showed Tyrion with a crossbow about to open the door to the privy.

0:32, looks like Bran is laying on a cave floor looking up at something... Maybe we get a Bloodraven reveal too? I was expecting Leaf but didn't expect to see the last greenseer until next season.

Pretty sure the last season will be zombie cat hanging some Freys in the night. Isn't that how book 3 ended? Her hanging a bunch of Freys and then about to hang Brienne and it cuts out? It's been a while.

What the fuck? Why would they do that? I don't understand people who make promos (especially for movies). Your stupid fucking promo isn't going to get more people to start watching it, don't ruin the god damn surprises in the story.

I read a Ep10 summary from a source I cannot locate now, that seemed to indicate that Stannis will be showing up in the finale. I would guess Jon finds his way to Mance, they talk shit for a few mins about the others/wildings at the wall, and once it gets heated, shit goes down. Im guessing they could film all that in <15 mins.

Well ep9 was 51mins long... about 8mins shorter than the rest of season on average which suggests they just MOVED the stannis rescue scene to the finale.

That's the thing about all the meh ep9 reviews--think about how the reviewers wouldve reacted instead if it ended with the Mannis swooping in at the last second before Jon surrenders to Mance.

Dunno why they edited it that way, best guess is they were doing some kinda meta thing about the "epic 9" penultimate episode expectations.

Brienne meeting her comes much later, it's her final chapter in AFFC. She is taken to her after being injured and captured (which in the show will probably happen when she fights the Hound). You are right though about her introduction being hanging Freys.

Lol, it's called IMDB and you're talking about the episode synopsis.

that tyrion scene of him laying down looks like when he is in the secret passage to tywin's room.
