I haven't really downloaded any music since Spotify came to be, and even back when I did, I still had the balls to acknowledge that I was stealing. I am sorry, Scott. You download music but you draw the line at Game of Thrones?

Sure. Everybodybut this is not one of those cases since HBO now is available to everybody at $15 / month.
Pirate now, Blu-ray later is probably a pretty common situation on these forums though.I don't think anyone here would argue against downloading in the situation that article describes. I also don't think everyone (anyone?) here that pirates the show is in such a situation.
Really? Legalized theft? Nobody is forcing you to pay for cable. If it costs too much for what you get out of it, don't buy it.
Why do you hate capitalism?
Nice to see the spoiler debate has lived on.
Also, what fucking momo actually has cable any more? TJT, I thought more of you. I will never pay for commercials. And that is all DirectTV is.
Either way, stay out of the thread if you don't want to be spoilered. Fags.

Even if I had good internet I would be happy to pay for DirecTV. It's a ton of entertainment for a fairly nominal fee, and HBO is the best part of it.
if there were any women in your life, you would understand that having some form of TV subscription is necessity. but there aren't, so you don't.Nice to see the spoiler debate has lived on.

Exactly how I live. Netflix (not mine), Prime (mine), Hulu (not mine), HBO Go (mine), Showtime (mine). Done deal.Pick the outlier; use it as example of the mean.
If you -need- to have cable/direct TV in this day and age, you should probably try to hang around women who don't watch shit like the Housewives of Atlanta. Netflix alone handles 90% of most needs, not to mention that most people who do the streaming shit probably also have Amazon Prime so they can do that as well. Throw in HBO GO and there's the most you need for the non-trailer trash female population. Your mileage may, and apparently, varies.

Well I rarely ever use the Hulu account so we can ignore that, I pay $50 a year for prime ($4 a month), $15 for HBO which included Showtime, Cinemax, etc. (Cablevision cut me a deal, it's only "on demand" viewing though, I can't watch the channels live), and I just mooch my sister's Netflix account. To be fair, all of those sound like they might add up to 1 cable sub.
