Yeah, I was waiting for something to come from her visiting her parents. She asked if she could stay with her parents for a few days and lied about still being with Jim... Glad we're getting weekly updates on her living situation, I guess.
That pointlessness aside, it was sort of nice to see Fish's plan come crumbling down around her, though if Falcone could just kill all of Fish's employees without her even noticing, it doesn't seem like it was that sound of a plan to begin with. So much for her being the smart one. I'm interested to see where they go with her character from here though. I can't see her being written out, but she's obviously not going to be able to reclaim her former position.

Best episode of the season I think. No clue why the Barbara shit is still in it, but if you cut that out it was almost all solid. And Christopher Heyerdahl (the Electrocutioner) is awesome, I enjoy him in everything he does.

i thought it was pretty solid too, though they are making penguin a little too much a comic relief character. i also think his mom is going to take a dirtnap very soon. marone has something planned.oh and fuck the barbara subplot. that shit needs to just go away. bitch should have been out of the show when she left gordon or earlier when he told her to leave town.oh and didnt realize that the commissioner is the dude from bosom buddies

I think that was kind of the point. Fish thought she had this grand plan but it really wasn't as good as she thought. She isn't as smart as she thought. I mean hell she thought Falcone had like a deed to being a mob boss. She thought a piece of paper is what made you the kingpin in Gotham.
I also took the ending scene with her and Penguin as Penguin taking over all her territories. I may be off there?

I couldn't decide if that was Fish being stupid or if that's the way the writers actually think this works. Considering Falcone didn't laugh in her face when she proposed filling out the Mafioso Don Form, it makes me think the latter.
Or it mainly was to do with the cash/main assets being signed over to her? Sure Don would have had money, but she would have had more than him at that point and had more loyalty. That's my guess.
I also think Penguin gets to munch on some fish muffin while taking over her zone. I think this will lead into a war between the two families that drives Gotham darker for a bit.

Thought the episode was good, not great. I didn't like the payoff with the electrocutioner with the way they hyped that shit for the last two weeks. The way Falcone kills the girl seemed a little weak, I expected him to just shoot her in the head or snap her neck. The weakest part of this show still continues to be Gordon.
Falcone said immediately after something along the lines of "You think a piece of paper makes you a Don?" to her. Falcone doesn't strike me as the laugh-in-your-face type.
