Yes I cooked it in the cast iron pan there. The bottom of the crust was a nice golden brown all the way across, similar to how it is in the top-right of the picture. I only cooked it in there because I had nothing else to put it on but it turned out great.Did you cook a pizza in a cast iron pan? How did that not burn the crust before the cheese browned?
Wish I could go back in time and kill whoever invented Monterey Jack cheese. Bland, waste of space cheese.
It wasn't a little dry? Didn't see any sauce. Even white pizzas have some oil between the cheese and dough.
I used Pepper Jack cheese, which was an amazing complement to everything else on the pizza. The cream cheese was spread across the dough before anything else and it made everything gooey and delicious. The pizza was definitely not dry, it was a wonderful jalapeno popper experience on every slice. Can't wait to come home from the bar tonight and finish the rest off!
