People complaining about processed cheese are the same asswipes on cooking competitions that act disgusted when they have to use canned food. Oh the humanity!

Meh, I use cheddar in my grilled cheeses, idk what you guys are talking about having melting issues. And it tastes way better than the nasty processed shit. Call me a grilled cheese elitist all you want, processed cheese tastes weird, has a weird consistency, no.

Yup. I like cheddar in grilled cheese, too.

Recently I made a goat-cheese grilled cheese. It was also tasty. Crazy good with the tomato soup I made.

To be fair, no, that's not the same. Canned foods are essentially overcooked foods for shelf life. Off the top of my head, only tomatoes and corn come out cans alright. Everything else is pretty much ruined.

Processed cheese, which people should stop complaining about, is just a different cheesemaking methodology. I don't think it ruins it, just different.

So today I am having a McCheese-style cheat day. The things I have seen... strange thing, though> i don't really eat many sweets anymore, and everything sweet I have eaten today tastes like lemon. I am not sure if I have joined the supertaster ranks of our own Tarrant and Noodleface or if I am having a stroke.

Going to my in laws house over night. My mother in law insists on cooking. Nothing fresh, everything from a can, pretty much every dinner involves some casserole that has cream of mushroom soup in it.

gag.

I don't cook it, but I am always happy to eat some casserole.

When I was in the Navy we were celebrating evryone getting promoted and decided to make shit that our families had. I made brisket, shit was banging. My roommate made Kraft macaroni and cheese with peas, tuna, and cream of mushroom soup mixed in. He said it was his favorite thing that his mom made. I still feel sorry for people from Nebraska.

Best meatloaf I've had came from a can!

My mother in law once made "stuffing" in the crock pot. It was wet bread.

This is going to suck.
Yep, it probably will. Eat something before you go if you can, stash something in a bag if you are going overnight. Then eat whatever she makes and smile.

Just tell her she's ass at cooking, so she says "Well why don't you do it then?" problem solved. It's worked twice for me so far.

Or don't be a dick and just say something like, "hey you're so nice for letting us stay here why don't you let me handle the cooking?"

Tried this. She hates anyone else in her kitchen. It's a no go. Good try, though.

Well, I'll be staying in, in that case.
