Twenty minutes of prep allowing you to "warm" the bird for an hour on the day of.Part of the sous vide appeal is the simplicity of it. This seems like a damn waste of time.
This allows you to time it precisely instead of putting the turkey in at 4 AM with a ton of guesswork on when it will be ready exactly while trying to get everything else and their cook time to match it.
Yeah this is the most optimal use of time.
