Yeah, because it has to be the gun control laws that are causing murders, not the massive income disparities in those cities.

edit: Pick the biggest caliber one, Jais. Get the job done right. Use a 60 round mag too incase you're really a terrible shot.

Readily available cheap guns sure as hell contribute to the problem. Like most things in life, it's complicated. I know subtlety is a tough concept for you hardline NRA types.

Guns are readily available and cheap all over the country. In fact they are MORE readily available and cheaper in all other parts of the country that don't have those restrictive gun laws. Yet our murder rate without those cities is quite low as a country.

What really contributes to the problem is the drug war. If it really concerns you, start posting in the drug thread and get your stupid ass out of this one. You have been proved wrong too many times, I'm starting to think you are a Lumie alt.

I 100% agree that guns are part of the problem. If a teenager can buy a gun for less than $100 in south side Chicago, there is no way to play the semantics enough to argue that guns aren't at least 1% of the problem.

Saying you care more about gun control than any other issue, even income inequality, yet even you admit the murder problem in the cities root cause is income inequality?

I don't really give a fuck if this is your opinion. I could turn the rest of your post around and say that you're "constantly showing how fearful you are of the ebil gubmint" but I don't think that's a particularly valid debate tactic.

Your only way to 'win' this debate is to try to cast the opposition as extremist. I've said about thirty times in this thread that I'm 100% okay with people owning a certain amount and types of guns, I am just in favor of being able to have a common-sense conversation about what restrictions might save lives. Instead, I'm being repeatedly cast as a gun-grabber who wants to confiscate all of your guns, and you all keep grab-assing each other about how much you've "pwned" me.

So, to reiterate, go fuck yourself.
