I don't get the beef with nfa trusts. The amount of work that goes into them, the paper trail it leaves, the cost of nfa items, and the fact that as far as I can tell they've never been used illegally makes me think its a non issue, or at the very least a poor use of political power to go after.

Full auto is actually less lethal than semi automatic.
Much like AR-15s are hardly ever used to commit crimes
and the fact that NFA trusts have practically never been used in a crime if ever.
