Shotguns are spawning bolted to the bottoms of counters in stores/gas stations again as well.

Am I really unlucky or did zombies quit dropping dead players loot?
They always spawned on the west side of the map west( all the way to the zone wall ) of PV. This wasn't widely known until about a week or so ago so many of those zombies actually made it out onto the map.
Since this has been known though and people farm them they don't make it far.

I've been logging in checking base and making sure our stuff hasn't been esp swiped and logging back out.
Heard once you start crashing it only gets worse so not risking my character info/state just in case.

A theory, although crazy is they are intentionally crashing clients that have any detection for hacks (lag can ping a warp detection) and the crash dump sends process info to them for anti hack measures. Its up there with bush knocked down the towers but would definitely give a lot of good feedback for who is hacking or not.

It is getting worse it seems. This morning I've tried to log in 5x and crashed within a second or two of getting in game every time.

I'd believe this due to the fact that they said they found whats causing the crash but have not said anything about a patch yet.

You would think they would want to patch something like that asap if thats all it was.

I'm guessing they're short handed for this particular issue and most of these issues going forward. For obvious reasons.

Are you crashing in normal servers or just BR games?
I'm having the most fun doing BR lately but I logged onto Antidote yesterday to see if I crashed there and yes yes I did although it took a bit longer..
Today I tried BR 4 times. Twice I ran into the log into the playspace only to be falling falling falling etc in one of those killed by the environment things you see at the very start while all are in the Pen waiting the mass airdrop. Once I DC'd about 3 mins in just after getting sweetly geared and had one good game where I made it to 20th and got killed.

Yeah if you look at the dev tracker, half of them are hanging out at PAX East, the other half are streaming games like CSGO and the occasional H1Z1 game, with some J_Smed tweets sprinkled in here and there promising this and that, like you can believe anything smed says. Meanwhile there hasnt been a content patch in forever, and hacking is getting worse by the day.

When this game goes FTP, it will be dead instantly, if it's not already almost dead.

I'm pretty sure more than half the players I encounter in BR (the only game mode worth playing atm) are aim botting, a cheat i'm pretty sure daybreak has not been able to detect.

2 of them are at pax east. Jimmy and clegg both are game designers. They also did a interview at pax east with some info on next week and the near future. They said early next week is the patch and one of the dev's streamed online lastnight and talked about other shit thats happening in the near future...Twitchhe even answered questions for a good 30 min or more and even talks about the hacking/cheating and the new DirectX11 update they are doing soon to the foreglight engine. Talks about the size of the h1Z1 team and said there are between 25-30 people working on the game and a few others from other games that help with the back end server stuff or something i dont know code talk.

Even a video of the new models and the female model...

Actually 3 but the 3rd is a community rep.
I do agree his post was a stretch though as all 3 code nothing. One is a designer for the game, the other combat design. Neither do ANY coding regarding fixes, hacks or stability and the one who streams CSGO is also one of these 3 people and CSGO is what he did prior to H1Z1. What he streams in his own time is his own damn business.

I agree with lack of content and way the fuck out of control cheating right now and the past few weeks but apparently some major stuff coming that took some time. We'll see if it is true or not.

yeah, the hacking can suck major ass. I havent had anyone hack kill me in over a week,b ut i stay away from PV anyways.. Gov Mansion as well. there's always people there, I stay way, but ill go everywhere else. PV even without hackers if your solo is going to end up bad. lol

Hacking was pissing me the fuck off, just felt like a fucking farmer for hackers thatdont even need to farm guns and ammo.

I apologize, I did not know that. I know that a lot of them are hard at work and the cheating is the #1 priority, it just feels like every time I check in on what's going on with the dev tracker it's them talking about pax or their stream or w/e... I know communication was really excellent in the first few weeks of the alpha, and it's still good now... I guess i'm just feeling bitter at how badly the cheating has become to the point that the game is almost unplayable.

That dev spotlight was pretty cool, can't wait for the new models.

Virtually everyone on the dev tracker is just that, a dev. Almost none of them do any actual coding or engine work in the game.
They spend most of their days determining how fast a car should go, or how much damage a shotgun should do at 1, 5, 10,20 meters and map design and such.
The 15 or so who actually engineer the code/anti-hacks/stability don't post there , although Jimmy did link a twitter this week to one of the guys who does.
