That guy Roy Elthan or something like that is a coder. He posts not as frequently as Jimmy or Clegg, but he does and streams every friday talking about stuff on the code side of things with the viewers, but yeah most coders dont really post stuff, them are the dudes that Adam say make the most money and are constantly working their assess off lol.

Except if they were working their asses off, id be playing their game not sitting on the sidelines waiting for it to get fixed, my cousin bought it for me but i still havent even bothered to install it because this thread isnt getting any better.

Ya most of us who started on Jan15th have stopped playing or don't play much anymore but I still got 300 hours out of it, 250 of which was pretty awesome.
You are not going to have many of the issues we encounter running around with a flashlight, no base and no party with you.

You should install it and have some fun.

hackers suck, we all know that, i havent been hit by them in over a week, since the wed before last. I know they still exist, but there si fun to be had. Game runs buttery smooth on a half decent computer. yes, not everything works, its alpha after all, but there is fun to be had no fucking doubt about it. I have 161 hours into the game and maybe 5-7 of them were ruined by hackers. ratio is still pretty good. You can get geared up withing 30-45 min if you know where to lookl

My problem is that I constantly crash. Constantly. It's really not worth me trying anymore when 19.5 times out of 20 It'll go down in 5-40 seconds. faugh..

The crashes have to be hardware or internet related, I've never crashed the entire time people have been reporting it.

I haven't had much problem with crashing (2 or 3 times in 100+ hours), but the few times I have crashed it has been around likely hackers. I tend to run the outskirts gearing up and storing away materials before looking for trouble in highly contested areas, so I do spend 75% of my time not in Pleasant Valley, Ranchito , Zimms, etc.

Crashes are definitely a thing right now. Release until up to like a week ago I never had an issue, but lately I can't even get killed in a BR before it locks up on me. Totally pointless for now.

Big patch this morning. seems to have added alot more clothing and alot of other stuff they snuck in there. Also, the game seems to run even better then it did before. seems as if i gained about 15-20 fps as well.

Yea there was a performance patch a few days ago that seems to have fixed the memory leak and a lot of performance issues. Smooth as butter these days.

Yes they have fixed the crashing for me. Havent had a problem in a couple days. Patch seems good all around.

Yah the patch fixes everything for me as well. Guess it was software as we all knew.
New BR queue system is great. Banged out BR's one after another all day often with only a minute between. Very glad not to have to play the stare at the screen and desperately click the join button when it pops up game.

wtf is the point with the bombs in BR? i got down to 8th and fucker dropped on me and it was over. I was chasing some dude that was kinda far away shooting at him then bam blown the fuck up.
