Im the opposite, I switched from multi monitor gaming to a single 1440p because I couldn't stand the bezels breaking up the screens. I still have multiple monitors, but I only game on the 1440p at 120hzI had a 2560x1440 120hz screen and switched back to 1080p 60hz screens because to me resolution > all and 3 1080p screens are more affordable than a 60hz 4k screen.
same, I have about a dozen 21-27" monitors scattered around and nearly a dozen 55-70" TVs (big house) and I run on my gaming PC dual 27" 1440p 120hz korean monitors and a 60" Samsung. All on a old Nvidia 680, get 60+ fps most games at 1440p. I game on a single 1440p, use the second 1440p as a extra browser monitor for gaming, and have the 60" for movies and TV shows and ps4. I find it way, way, way better than trying to do multi-display gaming, the bezels are distracting as fuck and its cool once or twice to have a triple display Skyrim or whatever, but after that you are looking at your center screen 99% of the time.Im the opposite, I switched from multi monitor gaming to a single 1440p because I couldn't stand the bezels breaking up the screens. Yeah, I mean the option to turn that off seems so basic that you have to wonder what the hell they were thinking. In certain movies/shows it is truly unbearable (GoT in dark scenes pisses me off). They still have that on the new TVs, but thankfully you can turn it off now. That's one of the first things I did. Screw you power-saving mode! It's a goddamn LED, even at full brightness it's using nowhere near the power of my Plasma, or my PC, I don't see the need for a power saving mode on an LED.
I was using 28" 1200p Monitors, but they were all LCD, so the bezels were a solid inch thick. Put them side-by-side are you're talking 2 inches of bezel inbetween the screens. It was very noticeable. I even pulled the plastic casing off of my monitors and just went down to the bare metal framing and it was still a solid inch of metal between the screens with 2 of them together(and that was actually worse because the shiny metal reflected colors from the screens, rather than the black plastic, so the smaller metal was almost more distracting).I don't know how you guys focus on the bezels. Maybe I don't have that problem because I'm using 32" monitors but I never really see them ever. I have to try to see them. If you're focusing on the game as you should you'll never notice them. You just can't beat the extra real estate imo, especially in FPS games.
Is it an LED? You want to look for info regarding local dimming. Model number would help investigations. If you know a way, I'll blow your dick. I looked it up for awhile, but I had trouble finding much info. I shave my face daily so don't worry about a prickly beard.
Turn off your intelligent sensor. It's LCD -> 42LG500 or 42LG550, sometihng like that
