Yeah, I'm wanting this kind of audio quality when I go for rides on my motorcycle. It's not feasible or safe to attempt but a boy can dream.
Be careful with the hearing. Mine is solid up to 14k on the left, and 13k on the right. I stopped abusing my ears in my mid 20's and I wear earplugs in noisy environments. I wear plugs on long car rides even.
Test that frequency range! The high frequencies are the first to go. My hearing is fine. Not excellent, but fine. Enough that I really, really, really do not want to lose any more of it.

Note: DO NOT turn the volume up so you can hear! Set your volume to "conversational" level. Then do a test and see if you have any loss at the top end, or notches in the rest of the range. Lots of other hearing resources out there. Your ears are the final musical instrument in the chain, is how I look at it.
My new Magnepan LRS's have arrived. The listening room (yes, I have a room ) ---

Now I am trying to decide what to listen to first...
Where did you get that mack ass chair? When I think of $700 speakers the first thing that comes to mind are grade school folding chairs. At least bring in some old school Pier One import chair in there.yup ). Styling early 80's shit paneling too. Not even vintage. I've gone rental out in the country. Bye bye Cleveland. And next time I buy a property, it's mountains time.
That is a southern exposure window tho. NW PA winters and that window runs the length of that wall. Sun is liquid gold during winter
The speakers are 30 day money back. Direct from the company. $650. If anyone here has some cash, and likes stereo listenin', and has never heard planar speakers.... if you like them, you will really like them, let's put it that way.

Lol!My dear friend and fellow music lover. That is a 1974 Samsonite model 5611.
All welded joints. Double strut back legs. Triple hinged seat-to-frame design (and confidence). Classic "floating backrest" design, again, all secured with welded parts.
It is quiet as a tomb. It does not wobble. Samsonite supplied folding chairs to the military during WW 2, where a creak or a squeak at the wrong time could cost lives. Samsonite folding chairs were used at Mission Control during the Apollo era. Buzz Aldrin tried to take one to the Moon.

Sold my Sennheiser HD700's since I find myself always using my HiFi-man HE560's. Wanted a wireless headset. Snagged the Corsair Virtuoso's for a couple hundred. They're good-great.
Sound quality wise for a wireless headset, I will give them a 9/10. I can not tell the difference between wired and wireless! Good tight bass 9/10. Highs are good-great 8/10. Mids are great 9/10. Soundstage is great using stereo 8/10. Mic is OK-good 7/10.
Would recommend if you're in the game for wireless headset. Will be keeping these.

In my quest to find a comfortable wireless headset last year I went through 8 pairs probably, and those Corsair's came out right about that time. The problem is my head is huge, and so they don't actually fit me. The Razer NAVI headset was what I thought was the most comfortable, but I realized after 2 hours of wearing them that their huge weight really sucked. Those virtuoso are way lighter, and not as bad.How heavy are they? I'd rather have a wireless headset but my problem in the past with them has always been too heavy and uncomfortable for long sessions
Those are the Massdrop version of the Game One's, which is an amazing headset. Still have my pair and use them as my travel pair.I picked up the Sennheiser PC37x gaming headphones from Massdrop and all I have to say is GOD DAMN! Just waiting on my Schiit Hel to ship next week.
