It's the same shit, it just doesn't have to go through the same quality control human meds do.
Another problem here, and you'd have to look at the color of the phlem, but it was probably a viral infection rather than a bacterial one.Saw something today that caused me to just WTF. Someone I know was sick. Chest cold. Likely a virus as it is going around here.
So anyway they said they were feeling ill and was going to get some antibiotics. I just assumed they were going to the doctor. They sent me a pic of some Erythromycin in a box. Looked legit on my phone until I blew up the picture and saw it had fish on the cover. I asked where they got it and they said the fish store. They said surviliasist stock that stuff for the end of times. After /facepalming a few times I replied, well you know if it was the end of times and I was sick I'd probably be shoving that stuff in every orifice I had since there were no better options. Since there are better options you're nuts.
But it worked before they replied.
Yeah well look up "antibiotics and viruses" and then "confirmation bias". You'll have your answer why it works and why you feel the way you do about it.
What's your take on f. necrophorum as a cause of pharyngitis vs a strep A test? A well known ENT here is developing a strep A like test for it. I think that would possibly tripple the AB treatable pharyngitis (10% strep A + 23% f. necrophorum), and put a little more trust in GPs. Especially since the latter is an G neg obl. anaerobe and thus most likely sensitive to metro or some other drug not prescribed like candy (at least not here). I'd be curious to see pulmonal involvement as well.Another problem here, and you'd have to look at the color of the phlem, but it was probably a viral infection rather than a bacterial one.
Your buddy probably just got a massive dose of omegas and got better.
On a related note: Vetenarians have the exact same general antibiotics that human doctors do. When the zombie apocalypse comes, raid the local vets office -- not the hospital.
FDA efficacy requirements and phamaco quality control for human generics is awful. You're not getting the good stuff, either. It's the same shit, it just doesn't have to go through the same quality control human meds do.
Not recently but it has been happening for years and overall it has been fine.I would recommend putting some Preparation H up your ass for a week or two. You may be tearing some tissue. And quit straining if you are.
Just saying what they told me, denied because it was submitted by an ER doc. They did not deny the original filling. I think the medicine is cheap but I wasn't given the option to even pay for it, they refused to fill it.They might not be filling it because of your Hu ealth insurance. It's a valid script with a refill. You should be able to pay out of pocket for the med regardless if an ER doc gave it to you.
I would call and ask why a refill from an ER doc isnt' valid and if you can pay out of pocket for it. Most have an 800 number you can all for refills they can answer the question.Just saying what they told me, denied because it was submitted by an ER doc. They did not deny the original filling.
