Well, I'm still in a-fib, mother fuck. Felt better this morning, but evidently still in it. Going to the hospital now.

Propofol is short acting, 0.8-1.0 mg/kg, 0.5mg/kg if the pt is unstable. OD is not really a problem - we can always ventilate

Was the pt premedicated with opiates - OP, other pain indications? Obese, maybe?
Pt was morbidly obese, yes. Otherwise stable. He would go through AFlutter into AFib. Cardiologist himself said he probably should have used less joules, but at least it worked. Haha. We had RT there in the event something did happen badly. Nope, I don't believe he was premedicated with opiates (though not sure, he wasn't my patient).

Jesus if I had doctors like that I'd be long dead. Seriously.
The funny thing is that I saw this guy as a kid 25+ years ago and at the time he was considered one of the best surgeons in the state and nobody had anything bad to say about him. I guess he's getting senile in his old age or just doesn't give a fuck anymore.

I finally have an answer. Just not the complete why. I never had ADEM. I don't have MS. I have b12 deficiency which impacts the lining of the nerves much like MS and ADEM and apparently it impacted my brain which caused the lesions.

In a B12 test normal is 250-900. I had 2000. Sounds backwards but my body is not using for lack of a better word the B12 I have.

Couple of possibilities some not so great and some not really good at all.

You have elevated B12 levels because you probably lack intrinsic factor to actually absorb it.

things that affect B12 metabolism include alcohol and aspirin, among other less common medications. might not be relevant, but are you a drinker or do you take aspirin, Borzak?

You know that weird feeling in your chest when you need to yawn? Imagine feeling that for twelve hours and it won't go away no matter how many times you yawn. Driving me crazy.

Well an internet search brought up stress/anxiety stuff, but now that you've posted that I'm gonna go ahead and go to convenient care just in case.

I mean I dunno, but it's the first thing I would think of when you've got that tightness in your chest.

It doesn't mean you're having a heart attack or anything. You do any lifting? You might have just pulled a muscle, even.

I don't drink and no on aspirin.
How is your bloodworks? What does your GP say? Have they ruled out some of the not so cool hematological disorders, CML, PV, and hepatic problems and such?

IF is used for uptake, Kuriin. IF def. would give decreased s-B12. B12 is solluble, kidney excreted. If he's not taking supl., there is another cause for hyper s-b12, congenital or pathological.
