Just played that Legendary Warrior deck in ranked. Kept him around 24 health the whole time. He went into fatigue and didn't have enough removal for all my dudes on the field. Ended up just waiting until I could do around 25 damage in one turn for the win. Seems pretty easy to counter. Just have to guess the deck by his first few cards. The Thalnos Whirlwind was kinda a giveaway.

Yeah, I lost to it the first time I played against it because I had never seen a Warrior running Thalnos so I wasn't sure what the hell was going on. Once the first giant hit the board, I knew I lost and what I had done wrong.

I was watching a stream yesterday of a guy trying to play a Priest with 2 Ancient Watchers, 2 Shattered Sun Defenders and 2 Defenders of Argus. Today I ran into the exact same deck twice...

From what I've read the warrior is supposed to be attacking into your shit and potentially inner rage the mobs he's attacking to make sure he drops himself into giants range. I guess if you didn't play anything though he wouldn't have anything to attack, but unless you're a druid I don't see how you're dropping enough stuff to kill him in one turn that he can't attack into to get a couple of giants out. Druid would work because you could drop ancient of war+innervate+faceless in one turn, which won't make him take much damage while creating large giants stoppers, and then you could start dropping the 8drops shit like rag and ironbark and kill him.

Almost every lategame decks(priests and druids especially) run these and have been for a while. Not necessarily 2 of each, but it's very common. It's very nice to stall into later parts of the game.

This was a huge component in the tournament between USA vs China that Kripp/Trump shoutcasted so it definitely isn't new.

I've been pretty lucky on legendaries, I've got sylvanas, van cleef, tirion fording, and a gold geddon.

I'm running a cheap warlock deck that works fine for the most part, rogue seems like it would be the cheapest to get up to speed (need defias*2, evis, and agent*2). I'd like to play a paladin more but sword of justice and avenging wrath, rag make it super expensive.
I'm now at 6 legendaries without paying a cent except for 1 draft to get my Golden Gelbin and I made this account 8 days ago. Gogo amazing luck. Had one pack with 2 legendaries. Last night had a pack with 1 legend 1 epic 2 rares and 1 golden common. I'm bored of drafting, but ironically enough, the best way to get cards to play constructed is to draft. It's dumb. Playing standard should give you dust, playing arena should give you gold, and quests should be whichever you choose, an arena quest or a standard quest.

He probably didn't play it well. That deck has at least what, four weps? He should be able to get himself much lower by attacking into your board.

Yeah, there is a large difference between having a deck list and playing a deck. Nigh everyone I run into at rank 5 is running some streamers/legendary guy/etc deck. Some of them play it incorrectly and lose.

I was playing paladin. I knew he would try and run his face into my dudes so I at one point used Holy Light on him and used my Tinkmaster on one of my Guardian of Kings to turn it into a 1/1, which it did. By the end he had used his inner raged on my Tirion and Ragnaros to execute them and he wasn't left with much by the end. Used the Faceless on my 2nd Guardian once all his shit was gone. Ended with me using Avenging Wrath, hitting him with 2 Guardians and hitting him in the face with the Ashbringer to end it.

Sounds like nice play from you, but couldn't he just have waited for rag to drop him to 10ish then combo? Seems weird he'd remove rag before he's in OTK range.

I was lucky that I drew them early. So turn 8 I played Rag hoping he didn't have the cards yet. Turn 9 I played Tirion. That's when he dumped the Inner Rages and the Executes. Then I started slow playing the fuck out of him.

Had I drawn the Rag late, I would have saved him until I needed his 8 damage as a finisher. Maybe Paladin is a better counter than most other classes but I would imagine Druid could do the same thing. Rogue and Warlock would just try and rush him down hoping he doesn't have the combo in his hand yet.

OMG what do I do. I know Sylvanas is so strong, but I'm only on pick 13 and x2 Illidan with a spam of low cast cards would be insane.

that early in the draft you don't go for "combo cards", you go for cards that are strong on their own ie Sylvannas
I'm a pretty good drafter, I understand the basic concepts. I'm at infinite arena and all, but still. This is a little different, this early on in the draft I can build something around such a big bomb.

if you haven't gotten this game yet apparently blizzard korea is giving out free beta keys
???? ?*? ? ?*?*

first line is your email @ whatever (gmail.com)
second is captcha in english
third is "i agree to be tentacle raped" or whatever koreans are into

key should arrive within 72 hours apparently, and works for US/EU players. I think you can easily get a beta key from reddit or probably here, but if you are lazy as fuck like me this is another option

If you did the math on how often I got Stoneclaws vs. my opponent's getting Stoneclaws it would create an alternate dimension it'd be so infinitely improbable.

Woot! I just opened my second Malygos. Kind of happy about that since I disenchanted the first to push me to 1600 dust for my Sylvanas. He's VERY situational but I'm starting to see a lot of Druids playing him.

Yesterday I got a Gold Force of Nature. That can disenchant for 800 Dust. So right now I've got plenty of dust to play around with. Just not sure the direction I want to go.

On a related side note, I also have a third Ice Block and a third Defender of Argus. I fully expect one, if not both, to get nerfed in the near future so I don't want to disenchant them just yet. Defender of Argus seems to be a likely nerfbat target and Iceblock has so much hate and people whining on the forums about it, it wouldn't surprise me to see Blizzard cave in to those forum whiners.
