Eh, at least it's not "server down until further notice" ^^. Really weird shit though, did they reset internally then reboot to check and it was all broken as fuck so they decided not to reset live? You'd think they would have tested that shit like a while ago since the season end was known for a while. Oh well don't care either way since I don't really play constructed.Servers are up, apparently no ladder reset. Postponed until further notice.
They posted "Test Season 2 will last until the end of the month". The fact that they named it test season 2, and are saying it's a month long makes me think no open beta in January. I'd be glad to be wrong though.Until further notice... if they dont do it toniggt itll probably just be next tuesday when it goes to open beta i bet.
Yeah this game makes me too mad to play lately. I got the above Warrior deck, so fucking good. 2 Upgrades, 2 Axes, 1 Arathi Weaponsmith, 2 Reapers and a Gorehowl and I never drew Gore or Upgrade and only Axe once in first 4 games. So fucking sick and tired of this RNGfest bullshit. The fun you have when RNG works in an average way doesn't out weigh the insane bullshit you feel when it works stupidly random and unlikely. Too infuriating, fuck that shit. First fucking Gorehowl in a Warrior draft and I play 6 games without drawing it ONCE. It's just not fun and too infuriating, too much RNG creates too great of a volatile playing experience. "YAY I got a Gorehowl, I can finally play with it and see what it's like! . Wait no, I'll play 8 games and never get to play it once, wow this really sucks!" etc. etc.I draft a paladin arena deck that I'm sure is insane, will go 10+ wins easily. Two sword of justice, 3 knife jugglers, 3 argent protectors, shatter sun, dark iron dwarf, argent protector, etc. Instead I go 1-3. Still in shock how that happened. First game vs a druid who coin -> swipe, swipe, starfalled on turn 3-4-5. My hand and board now empty against his 4 or so card advantage. Loss.
Next is against a warrior who uses cleave, cleave, fiery war axe, then later arcanite. Same scenario, my whole board/hand got two for one'd repeatedly, loss again. Third game I steamroll, as I expected the deck should. Fourth game against a mage. My deck had 7 cards with 5 or higher mana cost. I mulliganed a few 4 cost cards in my opening hand, get back a bunch of 5-6 cost cards. Then I draw the remaining 5-6 cost cards the following 4 turns against a mage who played minions every round. Lost on turn 6.
There is a hidden MMR active in casual mode. Essentially, casual is also ranked, with it's own ranking, you just can't see what your casual MMR is. If you win more than you lose, you will only face challenging opponents in casual mode.I don't understand Casual. There is no MMR there whatsoever, so I guess it's good for high ranking people to dick around in? If you aren't high rank though, there is no reason not to just play ranked.
