sounds like when I'm play any Reno deck. Reno always in the last 5 cards.

But I play vs a Renolock and I have him at 10 by turn 6 and sure enough Reno comes out.

Made rank 6 playing dragon warrior, but I don't have it in me to power through to rank 5 and beyond this season.

How much longer until that stupid card is wild?

So has anyone run into a Mill Rogue deck? It's runs Reno, but saves until hes run through his whole deck rather than not having duplicates by default. It's crazy weird, but really nasty.
Rogue Mill decks are amazing, but playing against them fucking sucks. All you can do is wonder if it even matters if he left a CL Oracle out for you to kill, then you play a minion and it's back in your hand. or it's dead because he milled first, sapped later. Then he plays a 5-10 card turn while you have to wait for him to finish that turn, every single time. Then you get another short turn, then he plays until rope again.

So, wow, I'm kind of in shock.. I just got my 4th or 5th twelve win run of all time, but I think it's my first non-mage 12 win. At the very least, first time I did it with paladin for sure.

When I drafted the thing, I was thinking I'd be lucky to hit 7. It had almost no 2 drops at all and I figured it'd just be awkward as hell, despite my power cards.

I definitely got lucky in some runs, such as having 2x argent protector, zombie chow and smuggler's run (on the draw with coin, so I went smugglers+coin+zombie turn 1) against one guy after my mulligan. Felt bad about that one. Killed the first 3 things he played and then had a 3/3, 3/3, and 3/1 left.

I think it was just the kind of deck I mistakenly try to play too often, a value/attrition deck that wants to constantly trade until it dominates the board. But, in this case that's exactly what it wanted to do, so my tendencies were spot on.

Lol I made a Dragon Reno deck and am playing against a Mill Rogue. My Dragon Operative steals a Shadowstep. So I played Brann + Kazakus on turn 7 and got 2 potions. Used one to create a 5 mana potion that summons dead minions and Shadowstepped my Kazakus. Revived the Brann next turn and played Kazakus again. 4 potions. It got so out of control. Hilarious. I also really thought Raza wouldn't be that great outside of a combo otk Priest, but I'm loving him. This deck is so much fun.

It's crazy how broken Shaman and Pirate/Dragon Warrior feel to play. So many games it's just like there is nothing your opponent can do

It really feels nerf worthy. Anything would be nice. Drop Bucc to 1 toughness or only get +1 attack. It really sucks having a doomsayer easily able to die on turn 2 when they turn one Bucc get patches and they war axe and clear it.

After spirit claws, I don't know how they didn't know a conditional 3/2 1-drop wouldn't be cancer.

Bucc should have been rogue only.

I played 2 hours tonight, pretty sure I only hit 2 decks total which didn't have pirates.

Cogmaster was neutral but only seen in mech mage. I'm saying they weren't/aren't as ubiquitous as Small Time.

Cogmaster's 1 Health made him not seem as bad but he was pretty damn strong for sure, as is flame imp. 3 attack 1 drops have been a problem since forever, they are always played in cancer decks

edit: Dust Devil an exception but it's Overload makes it cost way more than 1

2 health. Cogmaster was for mechs as small time is for pirates/weapons. If you had said weapons are harder to remove than mechs, then you'd have a point ;) Which was actually my point. Some conditional 3/2 for 1 aren't overpowered.

I haven't seen flame imp since zoo fell out of favor.

Even still, you act like I don't have a point. Amazing lol.

Mech was good in mage cause of their class cards.

You don't have a point. Don't say you can't print a 3/2 for 1 because there have been similar cards in the past that been just fine. Small Time likely doesn't see much play without Patches, Deckhand, or several other small factors that just barely puts it over the threshold.

Making him rogue-only might be a good solution, however.

All similar cards have been problems. Cogmaster WAS complained about.

Would you put a 3 damage 1 mana spell in your deck? 1 mana spells do 2 damage.

A 3/2 for 1 is dumb, especially for a neutral.

I think you both have points. A 3/2 for 1 isn't an issue if the negatives are sufficient. Needing a weapon is NOT sufficient in this meta. It's not like Blizzard didn't know this. I think Brode even bragged a bit that a weapon based warrior being really good in testing. Of course, testing for Blizzard is a couple of the guys getting together a few times to play each other. Hell, Blizzard negated one of the flaws of aggro decks this expansion while thy were fucking over control again. Free creatures that thin your deck. I wish they would get some MTG developers on board or something. All of their mistakes were made by MTG but they don;t even seem to be learning from their own mistakes.

Yeah MTG has been knocking it out of the park with new Emrakul, Aetherworks ... oops.

The public tends to underestimate the difficulty in designing and testing CCGs.
