Spikeridged Steed is pretttty good. What a carry. I've got no 1 drop minions and only two 2 drop minions with no consecrates. But once turn 6 hits (or sometimes turn 5 thanks to Bright-Eyed Scout) it's almost over.

Lol and then played a Rogue that got a Tirion from an Undercity Huckster. Mind you this was at 9 wins and this Rogue was trying to attack my stealthed 2/2 Poisonous minion. He literally tried to attack it for like 15 seconds and did dumb shit like that consistently. So after he plays the Tirion from Huckster, which saves him lethal, he goes on to Faceless it the turn after, and then play 2 Vilespin Slayers back to back, and then Shadowcaster one of them for another free destroy.

This game is seriously still played competitively and taken seriously? LOL. Genuinely cracks me the fuck up. Blizzard are masters at polishing turds to a fine sheen and tricking people into thinking they are beautiful. What a pile of garbage. They've ruined constructed for most people by making every playable card an epic or higher, and they've ruined arena by fucking with the algorithm so much and curating the picks/increasing RNG.

RIP Hearthstone. Can't wait to see what is built on your broken, crippled, decrepit back. Ben Brode will be smiling obliviously as if he's just showed you a neat magic trick into eternity.

Last night I played a mage who had 3 meteors, a blizzard, a flamestrike, a fireball, and a firelands portal (in arena).

At 1 win 2 losses. Fuck.

For me, I like playing the game while doing other shit. But god damn if I don't get rustled with the ridiculous losing streaks that plague me. Change decks still run into opponents with god draws or stupid RNG victories.

Makes me Salty AF.

Wow that Morrow post couldn't be any saltier could it?
I only agree that getting RNG cards is not handled properly at all, but the rest is just ranting and raving over nothing.

  1. Lol and then played a Rogue that got a Tirion from an Undercity Huckster.
  2. he goes on to Faceless it the turn after,
  3. and then play 2 Vilespin Slayers back to back,
  4. and then Shadowcaster one of them for another free destroy.

1. Yep, RNG ftw bullshit. It's still a plague on the game but much less so with Un'Goro. I can only think of Macaw right now, but there's probably a couple others. Discovers don't count imo even though Glyph & Stonehill are really fucking good too.

2. Assuming Faceless Manipulator, which only seems good cause he got a Tirion. Shit card over half the time.

3. Vilespine is certainly powerful, not sure why it's considered bullshit. It's fine. You have 3 Spikeridge Steeds and are saying this is bullshit.. lol.

4. Shadowcaster, another dead card over half the time. Why does this trigger you?

1. Comparing a salty arena run to competitive scene? Are you seriously this dumb? There's a huge difference between Competitive/Ladder/Arena.

2. It's pretty much universally agreed that constructed is the best its ever been. Un'Goro has been a great success for the game. How does rarity affect gameplay? Rarity has nothing to do with gameplay. There are valid concerns about price, personally I think it's a bit excessive, mainly due to all the quests being 1600 dust, and yes, there are a ton of great epics too. Complaints about price are valid.

3. Arena has always had balancing problems, it's no worse now than before. I think it's better in some ways, but it's also tarnished by all the extra card generators. Free resources destroys arena. Discover & "add random card" effects are way too powerful. Also problematic cards like Fledgling. But Arena has always been terrible. 5x Flamestrike mages, Ragnaros, Dr. Boom, etc... Its never been balanced.

4. You're delusional.

The arena players that complain these days want it to be like classic arena where you could actually trade minions and playing around flamestrike was the smart thing to do. You wouldn't run into insane decks until your were 10+ wins. Now you run into decks with crazy spell synergy at 1-2. It's way harder to take a bad draft and do any kind of well with it now. I would love to see a return to that kind of gameplay but I doubt it will ever come back, everything is discover/random/spells now and it looks like it's going to stay that way.

Speaking of rng, I had a game against a midrange hunter last night where he mcawed into a kodo to kill my 2-2 divine shield . I stopped for the night after that.

You know I noticed that the salties people, everywhere not just here, are the ones that can never get out of teens or win more than a few arena games per run. Its just like LoL and people in bronze blaming everyone and everything else when in reality, they just arent good enough but cant face that.

Game is good right now, best its been in a while.

Well, there IS a lot of luck and randomness but the thing is Blizz obviously wants it that way to level the playing field some for newer or more FTP players. Now arena is a little more like that with the chances to pull random answers more often and the adjustment to drop rates on spells and such.

Also Morrow's shown over the years a proficiency for arena so its not just "you're bad" although the post was certainly salty AF and over the top.

This is a joke right? The meta always seems fine right after an expansion drops, this time we've had an expansion AND a standard rotation. It's ludicrous to think any serious conclusions can be drawn about a constructed pool this new.

Nah, not a joke, I watch a lot of streams and go on reddit daily and the general sentiment is this is the best it's ever been. You may not agree but at least most of the pros that I watch have proclaimed it to be the best meta, and the meta reports show it to be one of the most diverse. It's a month after expansion, plenty of time for things to settle, and it's still very diverse. Compare to last expansion where Jades & Pirates were dominate from pretty much week 1.

Yea I wasn't saying he's bad but he's being ridiculous trying to equate Arena experiences with Competitive/Constructed. It's apples to oranges.
