I don't think he had mana for tarim+kings? Was on 9 right? But his trades were out of order, could have saved a 3/3 if he hit tortollan after the other taunt... and could have put 3 more face
I thought he Tarim'd on a turn, and the next round was left with three 3/3s. I donno.

I slipped back from 2 stars into rank 1 to 2 stars into rank 3 today, so I have no authority on this game.

I really like Hunter, and I feel like I'm in a rut, so I wanna craft Rhok'Delar for spell hunter. Convince me not to.

Had some spare dust from a few lucky shit golden epics. Finally crafted Deathstalker and can now Spell Hunter away!
Nice, let us know how it goes.

Weird thing with hsreplay is the individual Deck lists are showing very high win rates, 56-60%... but their "META" report shows it at 50%.

I've been dicking around at rank 10 for awhile so maybe I'll try and be serious for a bit.

Well took two attempts on cannon guy to beat (got screwed on rng on boss) and just one shot the hunter one with ease (beat the boss on turn 6)

Edit: Holy shit the mage one is fucking cancer...love hoping rng doesn't fuck me.

Season reset today so began the grind again. Not much luck with Spell Hunter at the moment. Seems to be really reliant on getting the spellstone wolves out with secret upgrades. I'm probably just terrible but I find myself either defending the board or sitting there with my dick in my hand and nothing to do about it. Rhok'Delar has fucked me a lot too by giving me a hand of useless bullshit (6 trackings one game).

Getting Deathstalker out as soon as possible is pretty integral. Zombeasts can quickly turn the tides.

Took me 5-6 attempts, but I beat Hagatha yesterday. Trying some new decks with the reset...Combo Priest and Zoo Warlock. I don't like spending money, though, so I'm playing weak versions of both. We'll see if I stick around enough to push for a high rank this season.

I've been messing around with the new Solo Adventure, and I'm entirely and completely over Toki the Time Tinker. I have read the /r/competitiveHS post on the adventure. I have sunk some 50ish bosses into Toki without completing an 8/8 run, and I've got no more than 20 on the others, having beat each of them.

The RNG is demoralizing. The starting deck is terrible. If you whiff on the bonuses, you don't just "not get a great option" like you do with the others. +2 health heal really doesn't matter. +2 health doesn't help.

It feels like if I don't get the double-cast and +3 spell damage, then I'm pretty much guaranteed to lose by boss #7

Someone teach me how to not be bad.

Really? I one-shotted her, get double spell cast/spells are cheaper and go to town, I didn't even realize Toki vs Toki had a reset card, I killed her too fast.

I didn't one shot her, but this was the strat that got me the win, along with a deck with flamespeakers and mana wyrms. Her spell buckets have some real dog shit in them, so it can be a pain

I didn’t even know a double spell-cast treasure existed. I beat her with 1mana cheaper spells and +3 spell damage. Beat her on the first attempt

I've resorted to climbing the ladder with Tempo Mage as it can reliably beat Cubelock.

Cubelock is still an extremely demoralizing deck to play against ungh and fuck if there isn't a lot of them. Did you draw silence at the right time? No? Lol enjoy turn 6 Voidlord. Did you board clear that? lol Gul'Dan.

I still much prefer losing to Cubelock/Control-lock than to even paladin or spiteful druid.

Had a game earlier against a spiteful druid who got back to back Deathwings - and on turns 5, with coin, and 6. Had the same with Tyrantus once as well. Fuck that.

I finished last season on a tear. Went 25 and 5 with Quest warrior (non greedy version). Got rank 2. Testing a homebrew big druid deck atm. Works well against locks, but can struggle against aggro if Spreading Plague is not drawn in time.

Why does even Paladin bother you? Also what is the none greedy quest warrior?

Even paladin is an easy to pilot, cheesy, on-curve deck that relies on the single most OP card in the game to win: Call to Arms. Outside of Call to Arms and Tarim, that deck is filled with a bunch of hot garbage. It's so bad that cards like Amani Berserker and Avenging Wrath are seeing play in it. Call to Arms is going to get nerfed and once it does even paladin is done. People will go back to murlocs. As a note, Call to Arms and Tarim both have an over 60% win rate when drawn (in the most played even pally deck according to HSReplay).

Non greedy in that i didn't run any high end stuff like Lich King.

Doing Heroic Tavern Brawl right when they come out and people are playing there free run is so much easier than doing it later. Just bad decks everywhere
