It's a fair amount of luck on what you run into. I pretty consistently get 7+ now (9 times out of 14 in last 3 days), but sometimes bad decks do well and good decks do horrible. My favorite story is when I was about to go 1-3 but on the third loss the guy dc'd on the turn he had lethal and I went 9-3 instead.
On constructed it's all Mages and Druids, at least at rank 13. All the mages are playing Trumps cheap mage deck and it's actually pretty effective. Today it was 6 mage matches in a row for me, then 4 druids, then 5 mages. I literally did not play any other class before I had to stop.
Trump hitting legend with the new free account just playing constructed is pretty cool. When he started it I thought he was crazy and was just going to embarrass himself.

I've had pretty solid success playing an older version of his deck with Cairne and Ragnaros in place of the Boulderfists, currently sitting at max stars in 6. Not sure if I really want to use it to grind much further, but I can probably hit legendary with something this season if I really push at it.

Oh man have I been having a ton of fun with my Lorewalker Cho priest mindfuck deck. It works way better than you'd think, particularly coining Cho out on turn 2, but even if you can't get him out till later, it works really, really well. Cho, Ancient Watchers, Lightwells, Doomsayers, Cabal Shadowpriests, Crazed Alchemists, Imp masters, Giants and legendaries. Good times. It gives you such control over the tempo and style of the game. It's actually been competitive too.
Also, have they even fucking stated intentions of the next patch yet? Isn't everyone beyond sick of UTH? It needs to be redesigned and it's really annoying that it's lasted this long again. It's just flat out boring. Not all of us have the time to grind to rank 5 to not see it every single game.

Of course it is. It reduces interactivity in the game immensely and not in a positive way (e.g. not in a way that makes you think more strategically. not really).

Just noticed this. If you'd actually been playing ranked at all, you'd know that the low levels of the ladder are like 75% trump mage right now, you actually run into hunter more the closer you get to legendary.

Well I have been out of the major HS loop for a week and haven't done too much ranked because I was sick of UTH so was doing casual, so what's the Trump mage now?
