I can't find my post where I stated that Hunters don't need a nerf so much as they need to be completely redone from the ground up. It was either right at the end of Beta or the very beginning of Live. I still stand by that statement but, even back when I originally said that, I knew it would never happen because it was too late into game's development cycle to go back and completely redo a class. It was a pipe dream then so, obviously, it's even more so now. But I still believe that Hunters are poorly designed.
You can't say that a class is "fine" after receiving a crap load of nerfs and is still the #1 class out there. There's, obviously, something wrong. How would I nerf Hunter? I really don't know because there is so much that is wrong with them that I don't think nerfs are the answer. But, again, they will NEVER do a complete class overhaul at this late stage of the game.
With that being said, I wouldn't mind seeing a nerf to Undertaker. That's not a direct Hunter nerf but I think UT is too powerful for what it is and Hunters highlight the problem with him. He's simply too good for a 1 mana minion. Especially when decks are built around him. Again, Hunters spotlight this issue because they have Webspinners to fuel him, Mad Scientists for the free traps, Haunted Creepers for beast synergy. Toss in a couple of Leper Gnomes since they're free, unavoidable, damage and you can see why UT in a Hunter deck is such a problem. With that being said, I rarely get him to snowball to obscene levels but I also don't have to. Even doing UT + Coin + 1 mana deathrattle forces my opponent to jump through some amazingly creative hoops to get rid of him. And it's never an efficient trade to kill him off.
