Apparently there is a bug where you can lock the timer. Maybe they are trying and failing to pull it off? It involves letting the timer get almost to zero and then playing certain cards. Once you pull it off just afk until your opponent leaves. Stupid.
Happened to me my very first game, right as I was about to win. was really douchey.
 
Yes, that tends to be the consequence of increasing the mana cost to 10

I believe the mc nerf to 10 cost is pretty huge. It gives you 2 more turns you don't have to worry about it. Using 17 more mana in cards or 27 more mana if you go first is fucking huge.

Mind Control:

Cost: 4

Take control of target minion until end of turn. Then recast it under its owner control.

Bam. Better fix. Mind Control for 10 is too much, but for 8 it was too good of a straight 2:1 that allowed you to trade perfectly. This way it would be a perfect 1:1 trade that allowed you to trade well (and reset their buff char, you get to use it while controlled, then it respawns fresh for them, great trick, still very good.) But alas, that's probably too complicated for such a simple game.

Shadow Madness does that already. At least now I can be more aggressive against priests with my warrior deck rather than slow playing the shit out of it until we're both out of cards and he's forced to MC my elites and weaponsmiths out of frustration rather than my Grom or Ragnoros.

I'm fine with the mind control nerf, but anything they change on unleash the hounds will make it useless, and by extension hunters useless, since that combo is the only way they are staying competitive right now. Raising the cost of it defeats the point of the card, since you wouldn't be able to summon more than 1 or 2 minions with which to give charge.

I feel like something the game needs is targeted discard. Something like pay 4 mana, target player loses 2 cards from hand randomly. It would help fix problems like unleash the hound combos, and also give an answer to things like a priest holding back a mind control waiting for Ysera or something.

On an unrelated note I am doing pretty well in constructed with my Mage deck. I was running the deck that won one of the Managrinds and it felt a little inconsistent and I wanted to explore having a pure-spell deck. Been tinkering with it all day and starting to get a really solid win rate. Only downside is as a control deck anyone who can heal (Paladins/Druids/Priests) end up having to die from fatigue.

Just my luck that I pick Mage for Arena and not one polymorph fucking pops up. GGS!

Also bumping up Mind Control to 10 is pointless. It should have a cap on how powerful of a card you can mind control, say 5 or 6 mana or less cards only. I think that would bring it more in line than buffing it up to 10.

My suggestion was change Mind Control to Rare or Epic as the card feels more broken in Arena than in Constructed.

Priest isn't built around Mind Control. The only thing you might be able to say is Priest is built around healing, control and stealing. There are plenty of ways to "fix" Mind Control without giving it a 10 cost also. Make it removable with silence, make it have a 2 turn duration, make it not work on certain creatures, make it drop the minions health to one. Have it return to the owner if it dies, etc.

I don't do much play mode and when I do its with shaman control atm, but I hope they don't fuck over control cards. I feel this game is way way too biased towards speed already.

Those cards existing make the big legendaries, etc not instant game over as it is. And as it is, you come ready for it. you play a priest, you hold a poly, hex, big game hunter, assassinate, etc, in case he has MC.

and yeah, mana cost change I dont see doing much. Rarity change so it effects arena, maybe. Extra effects like Khalid mentioned, probably a good idea as well. Take control of minion, discard a random card from your hand. or, only works on minions with 50% or lower of their max life.

they could also reduce the health of the MCd minions by 50%

Those all are terrible fixes for MC, and we already had this conversation once for like 10 pages concerning that topic.
So I'm not going to start all that shit again.

I will say comparing it to poly,hex, or a removal card is dumb. There not even in the same league.

MC is a card they can use once for a big advantage while the opponent will have to always have to play around it.
You don't have to hold, or waist a removal in your hand for when you get hexed/polyed....
