Hearthstone

Gogo DC arena losses thanks to badly done maintenance. Just lost 2 games thanks to that shit, with a Mage that had the dream (x2 flamecannon, x2 fireball, x2 frostbolt, x2 water elemental, x2 flamestrike, x2 polymorph, x1 blizzard, etc. What a pile of crap 4 wins instead of 10+. Thanks Blizz. Careful playing arena atm. At least this is my new draft:

Edit: Damn I picked Greenskin hoping I'd get an Assassin's Blade. Should still be hilarious though.

LOL, nice draft. Blizzard must be compensating you for their fuck up.

Is that why there was just a patch - to fix whatever Arena issues you were having? I was about to start one, but maybe will hold off.

You seem to always have a lot of connection issues morrow, are you sure you're not in one of the affected areas with isp issues?

Don't think so. I saw a message saying there was maintenance, but the servers would be up and that there might be a chance of latency so I figured it was that. I never get disconnected from any of my other games.

Well yeah, thats the thing only battle.net ip addresses are affected so if it only happens in hs its more than likely the isp issues blizzard has been having. Hots and HS are on the same ip and it seems that one is hit hardest as some nights I can play d3 with no lag, but not even be able to connect to HS/hots is unplayable.

Starting about 6 weeks ago cox in new orleans metro area can't even connect to battle.net during primetime many evenings. But the issue has been going on for awhile now as it all makes sense because for about the past 6 months every so often I'd lag out/disconnect from hearthstone games while my internet connection was fine.

I'm curious to see how you do. You are a little low curve with 1 card draw. Very susceptible to board clear.

I'm curious for you Arena players, do you have a better win % with or without the coin?

I have a 60% win rate with the coin and a 57% win rate without. This is over 300 Arena games played. Blizzard claims that going first is a slight advantage, but my Arena experience does not bear this out.

Edit: Also, the only class that I have under a 50% win rate against is Paladin (47%). Whenever I try Paladin, I don't get Consecrate or Muster for Battle, but pretty much every Paladin I play against has magically got these.

It does seem like Morrow DCs a lot. The only person whoever complains about it. Then again, Morrow complains the most out of everyone in the thread.

I should also add, that those affected isp(s) in that post probably aren't all of them either. It has gotten way worse since they did maintenance tuesday before past, the technical support forum is nothing but ppl complaining about lag starting last week and blizzard hasn't said shit about it. And based on how long its been going on it doesn't look like they really care/know what to do.

But more about hs, 175 wins til golden priest. I'm still climbing with my tempo deck, currently rank 10/9, if I can get to rank 5 with it I'll be pretty happy with myself. We were speaking of priest and oil rogue last time and its actually really good against oil rogue I'm 5-1 against oil rogue, the loss was a game the rogue got off 2 devastating blade flurries in their first 10 cards. Barring that its way too much for rogue to remove and they have no good answer to death lords.

I'm sticking with the change from azure drake to bomb lobber and I swapped cabal shadow priest out for young priestess for more early game tempo since cabal only really helped me against aggro which already is a good matchup, against control you just have to try and rush your opponent down and the cabal usually just sat in hand.

I got negged when I posted a screenshot of when I hit golden hunter, but really it's golden priests who should be negged. THERE IS NO JUSTICE IN THE WORLD!

Yeah fuck those take a full turn on every god damn turn just to end up losing anyway ,motherfuckers.

At least with Hunter it's over quickly.

Priest isn't even fun to play anymore. If you want a super calculated deck because the game is shitting on you play Shaman, and at least enjoy the game.

I had a Warrior dominance quest so I put this deck togetherWarrior Mech Aggro/Rush Naxx/GvG Deck - Icy Veinsand quickly went 5-1 and had so much fun playing it I did another 5 games and it's now 8-3, with two of those being extremely close. It's a lot more fun than I thought it'd be and it seems to beat all the Hunters and Mages.

Yeah it's definitely got a low curve. I should have picked Onyxia, would have helped tremendously, but I got greedy. My 1 loss so far wouldn't have happened had I picked Onyxia. It's a really difficult deck to play correctly. Just had a close game that I won vs. another Rogue where luckily I made all the right choices, but they were choices I almost didn't make (e.g. coining a dagger turn 1 to set up barber chain starting turn 2... usually you'd never want to coin your hero power turn 1 on an empty board. I didn't do it, but probably should have, stuff like that). I'm 10-2 atm. Beat the same Paladin twice in a row that had several consecrates and my 9th and 10th wins were against Mages that were at like 8 life by the time he even had 7 mana. I've played Greenskin a grand total of 2 times and KT once. Stuff like this is hilarious:

Edit: About to lose my 11th win to a Rogue that had a ridiculous Madder Bomber that did 6 to my minions Edit: yea, 10-3. Coulda played that game better, but that Madder Bomber won him the game, plus he had a key sabotage that took out my Sea Giant and 4/2 weapon. I seriously never ever go under 8 with Rogue anymore.

Edit 2: Lol started another Rogue. I have 5 Barbers again, another Greenskin to choose, and a better curve. Good stuff! Decisions...decisions...

Overlays don't bother me as much as the streamed tournaments that flip the board every turn...

Fel Reaver in Arena - yes or no? I feel like it costs me the game more often than it wins me the game. Maybe I just use it wrong. I don't think I'll be drafting it anymore unless the other options are awful (though I have said this before and continue to draft it because "experts" have it ranked highly).

It's a garbage card, people saying otherwise before the expansion were stupid.

It's alright in the Arena.
