I've lost like 10 out of the past 12 games. This is brutal. Slid from my highest rank I've bothered to get to almost 14 again. Have 2 different win 5 as X quests and after 10 games I have 2 victories towards one of them :/ what the hell is happening.

I can't imagine ever passing up an Ancient of Lore in an arena draft. I would have taken that, the Wrath (over roar), and the Wolfrider over Mark of Nature.

Odd you picked roar over wrath and then I think you had big plans for combo but passing up lore was a mistake. Other small things like I hate soul and seeds but that's just me.

Savage roar won me a game(that I had already won). I agree, the wrath was better in retrospect. Ancient of Lore, not sure that would have mattered. The games were over by turn 6 or 7 because of how poorly this deck curved out. Never got to and draw the Force of Nature. AoL still might have been a better pick because it's playable by itself. This deck felt too comboish. Couple times I would be sitting with something to play on turn 3, but it was just a Mark of Nature and no really great targets for it. I think one time my best move was to MoN a cult master, just felt so bad doing it.

I'm not a huge fan of wolf rider in arena. Always feels like an inefficient nuke, especially with how popular mage and paladin are.

The trap trigger is wrong. If Freezing is on top and the only mob attacks it will bounce and explosive won't go off.

Source: whoring traps for a while.

Not sure how it can be wrong when they show you the outcome in game
I'm not sure, maybe I'm misremembering circumstances but I can remember distinctly only frost trap going off with stacked traps like that as long as frost trap is first.

Yea you are mis-remembering, you are probably thinking of it the other way around. If you attack into a trap and explosive is 1st it will proc first and if it kills the attacking minion then freezing won't proc.

As annoying as agro and zoo decks can be(and they are annoying), tipping the balance back towards tempo/control will make the barrier for entry even bigger. Part of the reason I despise constructed because it means I have to play people who beat me purely because they spent more money on the game.

Do you think this idea would tip the balance too far though? I would just like it to be more like 50/50. Right now control decks I feel are at a 40/60 disadvantage, maybe worse. I think only Priest/Warrior have a 50/50 or better vs Aggro. Most other classes need perfect draws to handle a face hunter or zoo.

Within the context of Blizzard's shitty matchmaking algorithm and ladder system, I think the balance is already too far in favor of control. It's quite easy for players to start out fresh, gain a few ranks, then run into a wall of players with 3-4 legendaries and more epics. This change would ensure that happens quicker and more often.

Outside of that context, it's a neat idea, maybe a bit OP. Haven't gone through the math, but my instinct seems to think that these cards would cause some very lopsided trades.
