Picks cannot be made outside of context. Silver Hand Knight or Gilblin Stalker? Your existing curve and how many picks you have left will likely tell you which is better.I only use hearth arena when its a toss up between 2 or 3 cards and I don't know what to pick. Otherwise I find in most cases I *THINK* I know what the best card would be and it just wastes my time inputting them all into the site. Maybe my lack of success shows i'm wrong though, dunno.
I agree. I have played on and off for about 6 months. I have two of most commons, one of most rares, 1 or 2 of about haalf of the epics. I was insanely lucky with classic packs from arena and maybe 30 dollars. For classic, I've opened 6 legendaries - Rag, The Black Knight, Bloodmage, Geddon, Van Queef and The Beast, which I dusted. I crafted Sylvanas and Greenskin (I know, but I was new and play Rogue and Priest exclusively).I dunno I think they need to consider reducing prices of previous sets as they add new ones. This game just doesn't make me want to blow as much money as I need to make decent decks.
Eh, it's a matter of you being able to disrupt their play. It's not 'you are supposed to beat Druid' on the scale of the way Oil Rogue destroys Paladin, but the strength of midrange druid is the fact that it takes control of the board and never lets up. Midrange druid has a terrible time recovering if you disrupt their curve and get ahead of them on the board, and Oil rogue is pretty good at stealing the board away.Been trying to practice a bit with Oil Rogue. I've read that I'm supposed to beat Druids, but am struggling with them and their constant stream of large minions. Is this just a tough match-up, or is it my play that's lacking? Like I said, I've read that Druid is supposed to be favorable match-up, but I am just not seeing it. Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks for the response. Seems similar to other match-ups in the sense that a good mulligan with backstabs, deadly poisions, eviscerates, etc. will go a long way towards victory (with the opposite also being true). I'm not a very experienced rogue player, so am trying to figure this out as I go.Eh, it's a matter of you being able to disrupt their play. In general, don't pick a card that requires synergy with the expectation that you'll find that synergy card. i.e. don't pick Blastmage if you don't already have Mechs in your deck.Watched some streams, got excited to do an arena run... Load her up... Mage, awesome, this should be great. Zero Frostbolts, Zero Water Eles, Zero Poly, Zero Flamestrike, One Fireball, Two Blastmage, and no other mechs.
This game is so fucking frustrating.
Blastmage become Lost Tallstrider in that instance, so not a bad pick, especially if he needed four drops. In general, don't pick a card that requires synergy with the expectation that you'll find that synergy card. i.e. don't pick Blastmage if you don't already have Mechs in your deck.
