Disenchant! Disenchant!

I just crafted my very first proper Paladin midrange deck complete with Tirion. Very fun to play. So the only remaining classes I really haven't spent a lot of time playing are Rogue and Shaman.

Patron Warrior is going to be *so* cancerous this meta. It's not just that it is frighteningly good but that if you misread control then you are in even more trouble.

Misread control? I don't follow. If you see a Warrior, it's safe to assume that it's Patron Warrior. 9 out of 10 times you'll be right.

I don't mind Patron Warrior. It's very obvious what they're attempting to do so you play accordingly. It's also vital to have a board clear available in the late game. Flamestrike is ideal since it will completely wipe their board (including those stupid frothings).

Patron Warrior is popular right now but it's very similar to the old Miracle Rogue. It's popular but it also is very easy to play it wrong. A Warrior who knows what to do with the deck is scary but still beatable. But a lot of scrubs will play things at the wrong time and cost themselves the game.

Is that why I'm winning so much on my control warrior?

Heh... I nearly lost to a Control Warrior for taking my own advice. I kept Flamestrike in my opening mulligan which is something I only do against Warriors. I assume they're Patron Warrior and having Flamestrike on Turn 7 is critical. He built up 15 points of armor at one point when he got an Unstable Ghoul off his Shredder with Armorsmith and Acolyte of Pain on the board...

Only reason he lost was he dropped Ragnaros and it killed a 4/3. I dropped Sylvanus. He dropped a Shield Bearer. Ragnaros went face. I trade Sylvanus for Shield Bearer and steal his Ragnaros. He conceded.

Was a super close game that I won purely due to luck.

It's absolutely right to assume patron warrior, which is part of what makes control warrior so fun to play right now.

Tempo Mage is simply terrible right now. The new Zoo is nearly impossible to beat since it out tempos you. But I'm 16 wins from Golden Mage so I'll get there even if it means dropping to rank 20. I've already dropped from 12 to 16...

Can anyone clarify the mechanics of Duplicate for me, please? I was playing Mage in Arena and had a damaged Boulderfist Ogre on the board. Opponent plays and Explosive Sheep. I ping it with hero power, Ogre dies, but Duplicate does NOT trigger. Does it only trigger on your opponent's turn?

Yes he is, I used the below and it only took a couple tries, worked much better than wombo Priest imo. Save Repentance until after the Fairy Dragons, after that it's tits whatever it hits. Can't take credit for it, googled it but it worked great for me.

Dear God I never want to do that again... Warrior wasn't nearly as bad. Games took longer but the deck was more consistent. I just stuck with Tempo Mage for the last couple hundred wins and right now it's a very weak deck since Zoo is extremely difficult. My last win was against a Huntard though so that was cool.

Tried to use hunter for a daily and it feels pointless right now. Would get 5 wins faster with slow as fuck druid deck than losing 3-4 hunter games for every one win. I hate playing both classes so just wanted to grind it out fast but no way.

I was playing against a Druid and got back to back Millhouse Manastorms on turn 2 and 3 off of Unstable Portals. Luckily it was so early in the match he didn't have the combos and just got a free wild growth and wrath off of me.

I actually think Millhouse could be decent right now. There are so many Zoo decks out there which only run 3 spells and against combo decks it's unlikey they have their pieces if you play Millhouse on or near curve. He also can have your opponent make really bad plays since the power of free spells goes to their head and they dump their hand. But it just takes one spectacular loss to turn you off of him since he's such a gamble. I wouldn't ever play him against a Priest for e ample.
