Good thing hearthstone isn't poker and I'm not a gambling man, all of my losses today I had a 85% or higher chance to win the game when my opponent turned around, lowered their pants, bent over, and then pulled a win out of their asshole.

Master of Ceremonies is awesome. I really like it. I'm not saying it's great for the current meta or that it fits into any current decks, but it's definitely a card with a lot of potential. It's the kind of card that pushes a type of deck over the line into becoming a new viable deck. It only takes 1 great synergistic card to make an entire new deck or even meta. This lady has potential. We'll have to see what else they reveal though. It doesn't necessarily have to be more Spell Damage minions, but more viable strategies for long term strategies and spell oriented decks. I'd love to see a return to my Spell Damage Druid deck, that shit was amazing amounts of fun. It doesn't matter if you don't get her out precisely on turn 3, a 6/4 for 3 is quite a decent swing.

Excluding mech shaman, all shaman decks are bad, so .... ????

Mid-Range shaman only run Haunted Creeper / Flametongue, so it's going to be common having to use hero power turn 2.

That's my point. They're bad decks, and that card won't make them less bad.

Speaking of bad shaman decks, you can tell when a big name streamer is streaming something. After not seeing a single shaman in weeks, just faced two different mid range shamans with identical decks back to back.

Agree. Velens, Bloodknight, Fjola Lightbane, and Master of Ceremonies work pretty well together. Granted you're playing a two turn combo, or waiting until turn 6 plus for some of these plays, but they are still pretty crazy stats for the mana cost.

Shouldn't hate on a potential tool even if toolbox isn't in game yet. Those are often the most fun cards to think with. Unfortunately low tough makes it a rough gamble even if there's good synergy later. 2/4 -> 4/6 would be at least more dependable in all circumstances.

if it were a 2/4 that could turn into a 4/6 it would be right on the cusp of being playable and probably find its way into some decks as people experimented. As a 6/4, I imagine people will barely try it at all before moving on.

it wont be in many decks but it still isn't "bad bad bad".

4 health is fine. If my opponent wants to smack it or use a swipe/fireball then ok, that's worth for me.

Even playing it on 8 mana with drake is going to be hella annoying.

On paper all those dragon synergies looked good too. This is similar, depends too much on putting the pieces together rather than standing on its own or having an immediate impact.

MalyLock uses a lot of dragon synergy. Many decks run Blackwing Corruptors and Technicians. There's also dragon pally but I don't like that one as much.

That's because dragon pally isn't very good heh. Malylock is almost like a dragon handlock with the spell burst to finish. Its the closest thing to viable for sure, but you have to admit the dragon tribals didn't really have much impact on the meta.

Dragon pally is better than old control pally was, the problem is that control pally is just a dead archetype because it doesn't have the tools for the job. Malylock is on a down turn on the ladder but it's still a consistent top tier deck. Corruptors splashed into control warrior have done well on the ladder too, although I think people always inevitably come back to the tried and true wallet warrior list.

Some of these look interesting, but they all seem slow and unless they somehow introduce a solid counter to aggro decks...it won't matter.

I actually wonder if Blizzard consider aggro to be an issue.

I'm sure they don't because I'm betting if the ladder slowed down noticeably you'd have 10x as many people whining about so much control on the ladder as you have right now complaining about all the aggro.

I imagine a large chunk of the people who play aggro, even people who make legend with aggro, aren't actually capable of playing control decks well enough to hit legend with them.

Most of the control decks aren't exactly that complicated to play. I do agree that there would probably be a lot more complaining if the play on ladder slowed down a lot, but personally I think it would be more for the reason that control decks are for the most part *much* more expensive to complete than aggro decks.
