Poly Boar is pretty awesome. I looked at the current meta version of Tempo Mage on Tempostorm and there are over 20 creatures in that deck and many could use the one time buff. Card is super versatile, the cost is just right for competitive gaming and it will see TONS of use. One of the best cards of the set easily.
Agree. I totally love it. It's so versatile.

Too bad I'll probably be dead soon:

Awful, just awful design.

The tavern brawl deck does highlight that with the hero power shenanigans it can still function as removal with hero power double ping or fallen hero ping. Doesn't make it all that mana efficient but further adds to the cards versatility in some decks.

Legend rank gets a separate tier of chest reward now. No golden Naxx/BRM cards from the chests, which kinda sucks.

only two 2-drop minions is death with so little board clear. Seriously need to consider sacrificing more of those 4+ mana picks for the 1-2 drops.

Yup. That is what separates an average arena player from a great/infinite arena player. Knowing when to choose an inferior pick because it fits your curve better. I went 12-2 with a deck I posted a few days ago that was very mediocre because I sacrificed great picks to make sure I had all the essentials e.g. curve, draw, removal, taunt.

Well, if you consider arena a format, then we agree. Though, probably not on implementation. I think limited formats will just lead to stale metas again. Card disparity is not the only reason I dislike constructed. Actually, now is a *great* time to play constructed as a newb because many of the top decks are quite cheap.

Anyway, that tangent aside, I have a rogue deck in arena currently where I've gotten to "combo" shiv and spiteful smith. And it's been fun, nobody expects it! Or combo shiv with a loot hoarder or acolyte of pain. I will never get to use these cards in constructed regardless of the format limitation, it's just too weak.

Lost my first game with that deck versus a priest that was able to divine spirit and inner fire a lightwell before I could remove it. Then divine spirited a burly rockjaw later. Weird shit you'll never see in constructed. And, admittedly infuriating. Had to redeem myself by playing around *three* flamestrikes the next game. Every expansion that doesn't introduce more common board clears is a good expansion.

The hunter and miracle player in me wants to see patron warrior get 5 mana frothings and 8 mana patrons for justice.

I used to only enjoy constructed. But in order to progress (keep it in mind I only get to like rank 8 or so every season, and cool with it) you absolutely have to work within the meta and there are tons of cool cards I actually want to try. But know I'll just fail hard with them so I don't.

Arena is more fun now.

And that is exactly why they need a tournament mode. Allows you still play constructed, and play somewhat outside of the meta with your 3 decks.

It also allows deck makers to be much more creative then this one and done shit of constructed.

Thats a tournament client for all their games so people can run tournaments... Something they should have had for awhile now.

Not the same thing

Yeah, and that's really the next step. As Column and others have mentioned, a tourney with 3 decks is so much better than just riding the current ranks with whatever meta deck is successful at the moment. Get people moving towards a dynamic environment with real rewards.
