This is a total no-brainer to me. A golden legend represents *any* legend you want it to be. Unless you already have every non-gold legendary you want and/or need, then I say dust that fucker asap. Not to mention... it's Van Cleef.

Gold cards are insta-dust for me. The only gold cards I can imagine keeping are the uber neutrals if I didn't already have the regular version: Dr Boom, Sylvanas, Ragnaros.

Van Cleef is pretty terrible in all decks except Miracle, and I haven't seen one a serious of those decks since the Auctioneer/Leroy nerfs.

That shit lost me a brawl yesterday. Guy I played had a Nozdormu and I didn't have an instant solution the next turn. Let's just say he proceeded to use portals the next two turns. After attacking for 16 free damage from Noz alone I rage quit. That bug is definitely NOT fixed outside of jousters.

On the flip side, I had a perfect game of getting Questing Adventurer two turn and Sorcerer's Apprentice turn 4. I was getting rocked but by turn 5 I had a fairly full board and a 9/9 Quester.

I have been playing the Mage secrets deck on Tempostorm and it's pretty fun(2nd variation). I also felt it was time for a legendary drop from packs and was lucky enough to get Paletress and hit enough dust for Ysera. Time for some control decks.

I've been having a lot of success with Tempo mage. Running Rhonin, 2x Spellslinger, 1x Effigy, Antonidas and the other usuals (flamewalker, portal, fireball, frostbolt, etc).

Spellslinger seems shitty, but I've rarely had it give me a completely unusable card.

Lol omg. So this Shaman had a North Sea Kraken, the 7/7 Frostwolf Warlord and a 1/1 Searing Totem and all I had was x1 Murloc Knight, 2 1/1 Tokens, a Young Priestess and a Frog at 1 life. I almost conceded, but I took the risk and dropped another Murloc Knight, killed off some minions to make room, and then hit my hero power which then summoned Murloc Warleader and Old Murkeye at exactly 7 attack to clear his Kraken and to clear the Searing totem with a token. Won the next turn. Absolutely hilariously crazy. I pick Paladin over Mage nowadays JUST because of the ridiculousness of Murloc Knight and it being common.

Yeah, inspire minions are OP in arena and Murloc knight is a common class card so paladin is probably better than mage in arena now.

Speaking of OP inspire cards, I got a Nexus Champion Saraad in my draft.... talk about carrying losing games to one-sided victories. Its given me two insta-concedes and a concede the following turn when I (druid) played gang up for 3 more Saraads into my remaining deck of 8 cards.

I run Saraad in my tempo mage in place of Thaurissan since my curve is on the aggressive side for Tempo. He works pretty well even if I only get one use out of him.

Effigy is starting to see a lot of play. I've been using it since day 1 and Ive been extremely happy with it over Mirror Entity. It's much more difficult to play around since I, generally, can get them to kill something that gives me value from it.

Last night Effigy gave me Thaddius. I had Effigy up and threw down a Sludge Belcher. My Shaman opponent killed the Belcher which spawned the 7/4 guy. I threw down Effigy #2 and Belcher #2. When he killed the Belcher I got the 4/7 guy. I used them to trade away against a Boom and something else and was able to run Thaddius into his face for the win.

Saraad has been working great for me as well. He draws just as much hate as Thaurissan, comes down earlier if I need him to and his ass is fat enough to still trade vs a yeti/shredder board. If he lives or can I stealth him he can get almost as out of control as Antonidas.

I'm wondering if they're doing the real data analysis behind all of the cards to see wins/losses/groupings/etc. That would be interesting stuff to read about.

I'd assume they are doing the data analysis, just not releasing the data nor the analysis, just the conclusions.

I only see benefits in them releasing it though (i.e. free labor from interested people sifting through it). But I'm sure there's some proprietary or privacy reason that they're not releasing it.
