Right now warrior has 1 viable style: Control. Obviously this card is aiming to change that.

There is a OTK warrior already out there which is almost viable. A card like this might be able to supplement it. If warsong commander ever gets fixed there will be even more potential to use this card.

I actually dread the aggro style and will probably be hating this card soon enough. I am betting some annoying face-warrior deck is invented that everyone despises.

Doesn't everyone despise every deck that they lose too?

No. I don't despise the mid-range or control decks at all. It's more fun planning & figuring out the puzzles then going against super-aggro where you're 99% of the time trying to stabilize at all cost.

So just discovered something I didn't know. Was playing priest against a hunter. Played shadow madness on his sludge Belcher, attacked him, freezing trap went off and it went into my hand. Didn't get to see if it would have stayed mine if I played it since he pretty much insta conceded

Yes, it would stay in your hand, and be yours if you recast/etc - there's no "memory issues" like magic so they let that stuff happen as intuitive.

In vanilla when no one knew anything, Brewmaster+Shadow Madness was a combo you saw all the time. Still good in arena.

Funny we were just talking about this and watching strifcro for about 10 minutes last night faced two aggro/tempo mech warriors back to back.

Easiest way to "nudge" classes to play outside of their established archetypes is to add more Heros.

If I had a choice between two warriors one with Gain +2 armor and the other Gain +2 attack lose two life then I would be more inclined to play agro warrior with the agro version.

They can add so much more depth to the game with out making it more confusing, What if they make Hero specific abilities as well? Jaina would get an Epic Ice Spell but some other mage would get an Epic Arcane spell.

So I was playing casual with my Kelthuzad-Echo of Medhiv-Duplicate gimmick mage deck with tons of minions with deathrattles that spawn another minion...like Cairne, Harvest Golem, Sludge Belcher, and Sylvanas(well she doesn't spawn something but steals it).

Not having a great night with it, I tweaking it a lot during the evening as I play.

In one game...late in the game I am somewhat behind. I manage to put down 2 molten giants and a Defender of Argus between them, that totally changes the board in my favor...in my hand I have Kelthuzad and Echo of Medhiv...debating what my strategy should be for next round...

Big smile of my face, this is looking awesome...he fucking has 2 hexes in his hand and hexes both my giants.

I lost a few rounds later, it went from I'm about to totally pull a spectacular move to...absolutely fucking nothing.

All in all though, it was fun.

Is it just me or are Hunters more difficult than ever? Seems like the Undertaker nerf has forced them to actually build a somewhat balanced deck and play smart which combined with their hero power, freezing fucking traps, highmanes, hunter's marks, and UTH's makes them way more difficult. Even a well-timed Kezan Mystic isn't guaranteed to be enough of a tempo swing to bring it back. Maybe i was on the right side of the RNG, but I used to beat the shit out of hunters with my taunt heavy decks and mech mage decks. Not so much lately.

I feel like undertaker hunter games used to end quick, one way or the other. If you shut down their early game things fell in on them fast. Midrange is a lot more frustrating for me to fight because it ends up being drawn out ordeals where my health is slowly plinked down over time while they throw down belchers and highmanes.

The old mid range Hunter deck is a really solid deck, the only problem it really has is draw (which the old unleash/buzzard took care of and made the deck broken as fuck), it's still pretty solid if you draw/curve out correctly just not as consistent.

You guys are nuts face hunters are destroying everything. Its one of the top 3 decks right now

Freezing trap? lol

I actually love that trump played that slow hybrid aggro/control hunter yesterday. Now every pleb is running it, and getting trashed by a faster deck

Hunters are in such a good spot right now because of mages. Mages are keeping out all the decks that stop face hunter, because they dominate them.
And face hunter is an extremely good matchup for mech mage because the newer decks don't even use taunts
