Pros have switched to a cheaper warrior deck that's a lot faster to deal better with miracle/zoo, at least from what I've seen. It has like trolls and 4/3 chargers and shit like that and isn't stacking legendaries anymore, but it retains decent lategame with alex/gorehowl combo.

It's this one more or less, can adjust things, only 2 legendariesBlack and Blue - Hearthstone Decks

Shaman is tearing people up in ranked for me right now. Nerubian Egg just makes rockbiter and flametongue even more ridiculous. Plenty of decent early game vs zoo with lightning storm and feral spirit, enough burst to race miracle to the finish with lava burst and lightning/rockbiter. I suspect druid will be a problem, but haven't seen one all day yet.
Druid will never be a problem for shaman.

Playing Tempo rogue on ranks 4-5, I think I'm 10 games in a row now that I haven't seen zoo. sigh. Fucking druids, control warriors and shit

I had the same experience last night, i really wanted to capitalize with my anti-zoo deck and i faced four in a row non-zoos. Switch to something else, 2 zoos in a row. Fuck you rock paper scissors meta.

Isn't all CCGs to a lesser extent a rock paper scissors meta? Control, aggro and combo is what comes to mind from Magic. Now granted Magic has been around forever so you see different flavors of aggro or people will mix two types (aggro + control = midrange) but I think it is essentially the "holy trinity" of CCGs.

I think I'm up to 15 games in a row now without seeing zoo. Mostly just surprised at this point because I was expecting zoo all over. I adjusted my deck with black knight and one assassinate so doing fairly ok now in other matchups as well.

If you want to take a REALLY high order view of MTG you can classify it into control and rush (combo is just a subset of both) but that is quite a bit of oversimplification of the complexities of MTG.

No, there's not much Zoo surprisingly enough. Instead everyone has decided to hard counter Ramp Druid for whoever knows what the fuck reason... Or so it seems to me.

In a typical MTG metagame, you will rarely have such ridiculously lopsided matchups as you get in Hearthstone, but you also don't usually have such a wide array of viable decks. Mulligans are also so wildly different in Hearthstone, which makes certain matchups a lot harder. Like needing different mulligans whether your facing aggro or miracle rogue, or zoo vs handlock. Which gives an even bigger advantage to decks that don't care as much about the opposing deck when they take their mulligans.

I just noticed they nerfed eaglehorn bow. It only gains charges when friendly secrets are revealed now.

That's a stupid change, it wasn't that OP.
Meh, it did hard-rape any deck that had more than a few secrets in it, which already are a little too easy to marginalize by playing smart. I know that when I was desperately trying to make a secret heavy mage deck work, seeing Eaglehorn Bow was basically an instant loss. It's probably their way of trying to make secrets a little more viable outside of explosive trap and a few others.

They discussed the nerf some on the forums. Basically yeah, they didn't like how hard it penalized only a few classes, while the change does nothing to others, and with a few of the naxx cards based around secrets, they expect secrets to be more of a thing after the next few wings release.

Yeah, I want to try a control Warlock based around ideas like that when all the cards are out.

Also really excited to play a minion based Priest. Temple Enforcer is one of my favorite cards and I can see it being used now.
